Now yes, P there for Pansexuals is also a thing and helps to show that anti-pan stuff isnt okay and remind that Pan is just as valid as Bi; however the P on the label often gets argued as standing for P*dos bcuz fearmongering anti-lgbtqia2sp+ bullshit gets made up about everything we do... So a toss up if that is worth putting on the taskforce name or not, given it will no doubt come up eventually.

I am apalled that not ONE person spoke up for Tricarico when they were repeatedly misgendered by others in the meeting; specifically Rita comes to mind who called them she and her. It shud not be put on a trans person to speak up when misgendered in something like this. It shud be spoken up about by others on the call, such as by the City Manager's Official. Ideally such misgendering shud be stopped and corrected immediately, but at the very least someone shud have spoke up for them after the person who misgendered them finishes talking. When no one else speaks up; it makes it much harder for us trans ppl to speak up bcuz we see that no one else cares about the constant transphobia that goes on around us. Please; do better in the future, not just for Tricarico but for all the trans ppl who may be watching these meetings
