    I can never find the beat in a social dance setting. I would say it's almost impossible. Of course, I'm a beginner and a white guy. Latins must have some special gene. It's really stressful in a social dance setting when the music is so loud you actually can't hear anything other than the general piano progression. So, I guess more RUclips videos and years of practice.

    Despite dancing salsa for several years I still feel like a beginner especially as regards basic latin rhythm & music theory. I want to increasing my understanding and awareness of the individual percussions and instruments I am subconsciously dancing to because I know it will enrich the experience. This was a great video in helping me to attain that goal. Thank you..

      My experience is the same as Carlos’! My husband and I met in an amazingly fun Salsa Rueda class - we’ve had years of fun dancing Salsa, then we moved and haven’t danced like that in years. Today we’ve created an opportunity to teach Rueda so we can have fun again - so suddenly we need to REALLY know what we are doing - Thanks!

    El ritmo del piano es el mismo de "El tres" :) del son cubano. Recuerden que esta célula rítmica viene de la música cubana,🎹🪘 la salsa no es un género, es un subgénero, una extensión, mezcla, del género "música popular cubana" . 🇨🇺 Saludos desde México 🇲🇽 excelente trabajo! 🤯😁

    Mi pregunta es ...si tomo la conga de referencia para bailar, cómo influye la clave ? Ya que si es 2x3 o 3x2 debería ir de una forma u otra para no ir atravesado. Gracias y un saludo.

    • @carlos_tonos
      @carlos_tonos 4 года назад

      Gracias por tu pregunta. Para ponerlo de forma sencilla, ultimamente debde de quere bailar siguiendo la música como conjunto y no concentrarte en un solo instrumento en particular. Cada instrumento tiene su patrón ritmico independiente de los otros. Tipicamente la conga mantiene su patrón ritmico independiente si la clave es 2/3 or 3/2.
