You need 12 medicinal plants for a trap. May also use berries. The animal traps are "must" for a bowman. Alot of feathers needed for arrows. You gonna use more than 100 leather just for crafting/upgrating next days. Leather is also needed for bandages... Pretty sure that one animal trap is not enough for you.

Was a great Episode Bro. You sure are making it tough going bows only. I think it's pretty cool and you are moving along. Before you know it you will be swimming in mats. I agree, time to make a plan for the day and just go for it. Too bad you are not on a dedicated server, I would farm a bunch of stuff up for you, but that would defeat the purpose. This is still one of the best true survival games out there! Keep it up!!

Yep the medical plant works nice for the traps. That was a really nice cat kill you got !!!! A friend of mine and myself started another coop she is one tough player lol and loves the game as much as I do. Did find some bugs after this last update but CG fixed right away. I can't wait till you can go in the caves lol . TY for another great video have a great day.

Congratz for the solar panel! You need 6 solars to keep running an upgraded fridge and a refinery. The fridge has to be upgraded. Think about animal traps. It's a must at least until you have your animal housing. The trap needs 12 medicinal herbs for bait. If you focus you can easy collect many more than 12 per day. I play on hardcore and 2 animal traps are always around my base. If they are in a distance of 10-15 meters you will be able to hear the animal when it gets caught! Glass walls are painfull!

Nice done Myk! Silicon is deffo the most difficult ore for me. A drill saved me! I play on hardcore and i got 5 solar panels from raids. I raid all the bases 3-4 times and i destroyed once their BCU's. Second Charlie base is the one you can raid without braiking their door and i did some extra raids there. Before i destroyed the BCU's i got 2 solars. After i got 3 more with less raids.

Frig is 0.11 upgraded . Solar panels do drop but but been awhile for me . Tis was a great video very nice run and I've been working on my new one to see how this new update is and CG has fix all the things I've found so far . Ty for a great video again.

That adhesive alone was well worth it. Im pretty sure they still can drop solar panels, but i havent seen them drop it. I assume its just a really low percentage.

I didn’t know about this update, but decided randomly to try to play the game with my son. I saw sandbox mode and mew this was the mode that should have been in from the start. Every Moria run will be different!!!! Exactly what I wanted. Wish they had promoted this more strongly as I believe this is what was needed to make the game feel the mystery of these ruins.

Hey Myki. Correct. Stairs (small) - half ceilling - foundation with door frame. If you put stairs infront of a door frame you will notice that many times you will stuck.This half ceilling looks like a porch / veranda infront of your door. The cat will never pass the doorway. You are 100% safe behind your door frame. BTW impressive bow skills with the deers!!!

YO! On my third play through of this wonderful game. I told my brother about it and he is hooked as well. I wanted to point out a perk I just realized was available. Im not sure, but I think it can be gotten early. What is this perk?....drum roll...CARTOGHRAPHY! In reading of course:]

To be honest, it looks extremely ugly. UI looks 20 years old. Very odd mix of fonts, bad quality rendering. I fear only die hard "stat" fans will ever waste time on this. The each their own, i am sure there are people out there that will love it for reasons only known to them. I am playing "Dawn of Defiance" EA at the moment and i feel that game is more up to the 2024 standards most gamers would expect to be seeing released.

To be able to farm the cat easyer there are some tips. The best way is to build your platform on flat surface. Infront of the side you expect to see the cat put a half ceiling and then small stairs. On your platform now you will build a door frame without the door. The platform has to be in a high that you will have to jump if you want to come from behind and not from the stairs. Don't put the platform too high. Someday you'll have to jump on your platform from some other side and you will not be able! Upgrade the door frame using metal plates. That will tripple the frame durability. You repair using a plank and a single nail for every cat you kill. Perhaps some days you have to repair twice. Find the cougar. Shoot with your bow and run to your FOB. Up the stairs -run through the half ceiling and get into your Fob. Don't stop right after you walked through the door frame because if the predetor started his attack before you entered he will hit you if you don't go to the end of your platform. The door frame stops the cat (wolfs-bears and mooses too!!)2 Shoot quicly. Try to shoot 2 arrows before the cat leaves. Do it once more and you are done. Every 12 hours you have new spawn. One cat with your breakfast and one after your dinner! :) It's crucial to upgrade the door frame to avoid spending nails every time. And it's not only nails. The hammer too. If the cat attacks your stairs or the half cieling then you have to upgrade them too. The purpose of the half ceiling is to prevent you to stack infront of your framedoor when you claim the stairs. It's an know glitch of subsistance building that if you have stairs infront of your doorway then many times you will stack there for a second. That second is a mater of life or death for you!!!

Some tips dude! 8:55 : The huge rock in the distance has most of the time at least one obsidian. After this one you will find one more at the next rock in the non snow area. Those rocks always have at least one node of obsidian. In your right you will find 4-5 huge rocks in that valley. Check the mapwherer the high obsidian area ends and you will understand. You will find 100% 2-3 more nodes there. You are searching only the half area (and the more difficult). The area i'm talking about has good visibility and the predators can't surprise you. Also starting your obsidian loot run above your FOBS and heading north-north west till the Devil's peak you will force the game to respawn obsidian at the area around your FOBS. You have to start very early (morning) and you will return to your base night. I play on hardcore and i manage to find 20-30 obsidian every time. Staying at the FOB during the night and reload will give you new spawns. So in 2 days you can gather all the needed obsidian for more than 10 solar panels. Then you can focus on silicon and let your fob mining for lithium. Thats a smart way to play the game at the moment. Don't know if it's proper for a YTb series but that the way i was going to play. 9:28 you found a weapons bag. From that grub tree down to the next one and right to the arch is a lockcrate area. 35% possibility to find a LC. On your left as you are looking there is the last huge rock at the obsidian area borders. Check there for obsidian and under the rock for LC !If you go left you will find the Devils Peak and one more cat. When you are looking for Obsidian you have to go up high and start looking the rock formations under. You missed at least 3-5 nodes just because you don't go at the edge of the highest rocks (of every formation) and look at the rocks under.

You should put power storages in you're mining bases for more power if you want to.

Woohoo congrats on the 2nd panel!! Its so hard to pick between ore outpost vs main base haha. Just remember it wont be long you will be way ahead in mats. Great to see the bow at level 2 as well.

That light was absolutely blinding. Gotta love the creativity just to place the solar panel. I was going to suggest moving the bed on top of the platform, but that sloping roof was a better idea.

Well done like the layout . I got 6 thousand hours in game and still love this game other then some of the changes CG had done this last time but this is probably my best chill game to play so can't wait to see your next video. Have a great day.

If you doing the animal pen maybe you can have 2 animals at a time in 1 pen so if not then you can make 2 animal pen

It was still a good day, you didn't die. That was a Hunter you killed he had a shirt on. Why he was that far is a good question. As for the cat, it seems they patrol a bigger area now. I always make a foundation with stairs and I move the stairs when I fight. I don't know how you have stuck with the bow for this long. It's not easy!

You need to work on your main base first. Since you are going "bow Only" you need to be able to upgrade it to take on higher level animals, rogues, & hunters. Also getting a fridge & power is needed so that you can start growing & storing vegatables to build up your health & stamina levels. Looking forward to your decisions & progression.
