I feel that the diddles, mostly on the left hand, were getting crushed sometimes, so i'd say try to stroke them out more
watch your heights sometimes they’re a bit iffy, if you can practice in front of a mirror
@@edoggo1887 yeah of course, but my host house doesn’t have a mirror so i’m kinda cooked for a few
oh lol I feel that, also im not being annoying or anything with my suggestions right
@@edoggo1887 oh nah, i appreciate it

lol
left hand buzzes sound shorter than rh to me but maybe that’s just where the mic is
@@edoggo1887 honestly i think you’re right, its a struggle getting that buzz then going into a upstroke

Imo unless the exercise is marked p-mf you should try to get up to ff, especially for an exercise focusing on dynamics
Good job 👍
cool
thank
I think you should try to put in more velocity, maybe by using a bit more arm at higher dynamics, right now it seems almost entirely wrist by the video. Also maybe lower the pad an inch? I’ve always seen that the bead should be around half an inch above the center of the pad but the sticks should be around 2 inches above the rim
thank you! i’ll keep that in mind
nice work mate
thank you man

Hey dude! I found your channel through my suggestions. I love how you log your practice and are pursuing a pretty prestigious corp. Keep it up, you sound amazing and if you keep up this pace you'll get in, I'm sure of it. Practice everyday and don't be afraid to go slow to work on technique from time to time. (Take it from a classical flute player, lol) Best wishes from Southern California, and I wish you the best in your musical endeavors!!!!! (P.s., yea I had a piano phase too, hence the name lololol)
thats awesome! thank you man, best of wishes wherever you go.

Nice!
thank you man!
Excellent!
One thing I’ll say is if you don’t have much leg strength your drums gonna flop around a lot because your relying on your legs to keep your posture clean over your upper body strength and core. Second thing. Get comfortable marching in tracking block before playing. I think it would definitely benefit you getting used to counting and tracking with a drum on before playing. I used to be the same way over time my posture has really cleaned up. Aside from that just like the guy said about your technique and rolls are really open just develop some consistency with your hands 🙌
yeah no i agree, that was my first time tracking sideways
idek how this popped up in my recommended or if you were asking for advice. but your rolls are def nice and open which is a W, all you really need is better hand speed and confidence in yourself and the drum cause then you’ll be playing like a real baddie who’s slaying on that field 💅
What school are you in? How is your drumline so good...
thank you man!
Hey i know that guy thats crazy
Hey man! The improvemeent is showing! But, there is still some stuff to work on! Like those stick heights seem just a little high on those taps, so I would take the exercise slow and just look where your taps are starting. Also, Yowzah! those accents are all wrist! Ide suggest using some Forearm in there because accents and everything shouldn't all come from the wrist, (this also gos for accents, and Rolls) just don't use to much because people start to over exaggerate it and start moving their entire body for a roll or a accent lol. Anyways Happy practicing!
1. Hey Man! theere has been alot of improvement sincee the last timee I've seen one of your videos its great to see! Although you keept your timing pretty good there was still some minor variations in tempo. so I would suggest that it always a good habit for any time your practicing to use a metronome no matter what. headphones work best for me but its personal preference. 2. Also, there is some difference in sound from your left and right hands, so I would suggest looking at your grip making sure your keeping all your fingers on the stick. its actually shocking thee sound different it makes. 3. my last thing to add is on your next video, position your camera where the stick is facing thee camera head on. doing this you will see if you are slashing and where your grip lets loose and moves the stick around. Happy practicing!
Thank you! I will definetly use these. I’m going through a little bit of a grip change so my hands are still ajusting to it.
an excercise for flam taps I find super helpful is flam tap builder so you can get the threes motion nice and comfortable ruclips.net/video/zw6EBI2bP0c/видео.html
Make sure you arent early to the 1st tap after the accent. You have great accent tap definition, keep it up!
Thank you! Greatly appreciated.
Nice
You're making some great sounds! I'd recommend a metronome as well as keeping your hands super relaxed through excersises like this. You should also start building roll chops from the wrist instead of the arm, it will help a lot in the long run, happy practicing!
My tech has taught me to use arm, but I’m going to start transitioning to that soon
If you aren’t already, practice with a metronome and headphones, I noticed you slow down a little on the 16s and speed up at the 8s.
Got you man! Thanks for the feedback!
Hey man, Keep up the grind! the only thing I would suggest is having a audible metronome to keep time better. your marking time which is good but your still speeding up and slowing down at some points. Also, I would open up those buzzes so they aren't sounding like strokes,
Thank you man!
