AXP Land Management
США
Добавлен 16 мар 2022
We own and operate AXP Land Management in SC. A year ago we decided to start this business because we love the work. We learned a lot about the heavy equipment business through RUclips. We decided to create this channel just to share our work and hopefully, entertainment in the process. Our videos will include jobs that may include land clearing, mulching, grading, etc.. They will also include projects around our personal properties (clearing, barndominium build) and some of our shenanigans. Give us a like, subscribe, comment if you enjoy the content.
Thanks,
Tim & Derrick

We removed all underbrush, small trees, and anything else we came across in this area (about an acre). We didn’t get any video at the beginning of the job, but you could barely walk through this place when we started.

I have the 27 inch Mongo attachment mulcher for my JD 50 G. I noticed in the video that you can’t lock your hydraulics on. I was just wondering how long it took you to get used to that cause it drives me nuts.
@@rngn2010 it’s not too bad. According to my dealer, I can have the computer sent back to Sany and upgraded (at no cost) and it will do continuous flow. They say it takes about 2 weeks, but I don’t mulch enough to fool with it right now.
Do you still have it and how has it held up?
@@hickoryvalleyoff-road3041 I do. Right about 1000 hours now and have no issues.
People whom have never run equipment do not understand that trying to remove that with a D3 cat dozer would have taken almost as long a time, 3 times the fuel and destroyed that yard. Mini excavators are amazing
How long did the job take to complete? Im thinking on getting one of these for my mini as well but also wondering if its a good investment.
@@akilbrewley9431 about 2.5 hours
Nice!! You did a really good job.
laborieux...................
How dark is the tint on your machine?? how are you liking the Mongo Flail mulcher? Any regrets with it? Im fixing to order one, just want to make sure im making the right decision.
I think the tint is 5% on everything but the front glass. I think we did 20% on the front. As far as the flail mulcher, we have been happy with it. It’s handled everything we’ve thrown at it within reason.
Apparently y'all have more than one Sany. How do you like them and how are they holding up in the real world? Thanks for the video.
No, just the one 50. I honestly have no complaints. We’re at almost 900 hours now with no issues.
I'm impressed that the 50 could lift the big stump!
Thinking about getting Mongo 35" forestry mulcher for SANY SY80U
For the price thing seems pretty good seems to do about as good as my brish cutter
How’s it holding up so far? Would you Recommend ?
I have zero complaints and yes I would recommend it. 👍
Where did you get the mulcher? I see it advertised for $10,500
Bought it straight from Mongo Attachments. Jordan McClain is the sales guy.
For $10,500 I won’t say the stuff I wanted to cause I spent $20k on a fecon for my Bobcat e60 and it would eat that tree in about 15 seconds. But for $10,500 I’d give this a try
What year is it my ‘21 doesn’t have that side window
It’s supposed to be a 21. 😂
Is your thumb not working properly?
This is the wrong don’t just take it out use a stump grinder happy to help you out 😊😊😊😊😊.
Appreciate the help but we enjoy a good challenge. 😆
Improper grammer
What size are you running? Thanks
35”
Do you think the 50 has enough flow - power to run the mulcher? What did that mulcher cost ? Thanks!
Oh yeah. It spins the head really well. It was just under 10k
@@axplandmanagement633 Thank you! Good videos!
What trees have the biggest root system or stump?
Around here I’d say red and white oak but we have some big pine trees too. Pine trees are usually the worst to get out of because they have a tap root that can be very deep.
Would be nice to see what your doing, kind of hard to see when the camera is a 1000 ft away.
New videos coming from inside the cab. Appreciate the feedback.
Rotating grappling bucket is the way to go. Throw it in the neighbors yard and call it a day
😂 and I’d love to have one. Probably gonna start with a tilt bucket and graduate to the rotator later.
!!**.
Wow. Can't see much with the camera that far away, Dude. Won't get many likes that way.
Why did it need an over haul with 700 hrs? Not 10,700 hrs?
Dirt built up in belly pan and rubbed a hole in the oil pan. No oil = no bearings. 😂
How do you grease it without grease zirks
I wish that was mine!!
Need to work on your camera angles. Can’t see anything
Yessir. Camera angles and video editing is new to me but I’m working on it. Thanks for watching and providing feedback. If it sucks, I need to know. 😂
@@axplandmanagement633 Lol no it don’t suck but it’s just a little to far away. But still cool
What’d the head cost?
It was just under 10k
@@axplandmanagement633 how’s it holding up? Ever wish you had a legitimate mulcher? I’m going back and forth
@@Tcw2019 it holds up great. At times I wish I had and actual mulcher but I honestly don’t need one (yet). This one has done everything I’ve needed it to do.
How do you like the mongo? How big can you go?
We really like it. We’ve cut stuff around 6 inches. It will blow through softwood that size but the hard wood takes a minute.
How many times or teeth have you had to replace? Machine been good with normal greasing maintenance? anything else
Replaced some of the teeth a couple months ago. The old teeth were still cutting but we had 12 new ones so we swapped them out. Machine has been great, no issues.
Wow that was the hardest to get that stump out! 😅
This one wasn’t too bad. Check out the monster stump we tried to dig up recently.
It looks like a burl pending the type of tee it could be worth a bit of money to an artist
It was some kind of oak. Either white or pin (I think). If I could’ve got it out, I would’ve posted it on Marketplace 😂.
How do you like the Sany 50? Good and bad?
Honestly have no complaints. It’s done everything we wanted and probably some things it shouldn’t have done. Only complaint I have is track speed.
You’re going to need a bigger digger…. Perseverance pays off
For sure!! My 50 identifies as a 215 but it didn’t work out. 😂
@@axplandmanagement633 Hahahah I tip my hat to you sir, that was very good.
Does the machine have constant flow hydraulics?
It doesn't currently but according to my dealer it's an easy fix (software). I just haven't had a chance to take it in. This was the email from my dealer: "If your machine has the older software continuous flow wasn’t an option. The good news is it can be added. The bad news is to do it we will have to send your monitor back to Sany to have it flashed so you would be down a couple days"
@@axplandmanagement633 ahh I gotcha, dont sound to hard to do
I sharpened and serrated the edge of my ripper that I used for grubbing on my 50 series machine, worked a lot better.
I’ve thought about trying that. How thick is your ripper tooth and how did you do it? Plasma cutter? Ours is almost 2 inches thick.
Torch and a big grinder
That little SANDY gets the job done!!! Great video keep up the good work.
That stump is bigger than the machine. Very impressive
Yeah. Honestly hate we quit on it. I think we could’ve gotten is broke loose but I don’t think we were getting it out of the hole.
Nice set up. I’ve been considering a fixed tooth mulcher for my kx040. But wasn’t sure if it would make sense to spend that much. These are cheaper and look like they do a good job. What’s your rate per hr? Around my neck of the woods average mini mulcher is getting 120-150.
Thanks. We don’t do enough mulching to justify $20k+ on a fixed tooth. Having said that Mongo does offer a fixed tooth head now. They didn’t when we got ours. Don’t quote me on price but I think it’s around $14-15k. I have never really considered a hourly rate and bid it by the job.
So is the ripper better then the bucket for stump removal?
Absolutely. Breaks the roots easier, less cleanup, and it gets under the stump better than the bucket.
Machine it to small for that work. You need the Sany sy95c.
No doubt. Went into this one blind so had no idea it was that big. Could probably could use a 200 or so on this one. 😂
@@axplandmanagement633 95 would work great for that, up to 1-1.5 acre clearings is what I use. Anything above I use a 215 or above. Your doing great, just wanted to give feedback as I always am looking for that.
How does it do on 6" trees?
It’s not rated for that but it will do it on soft wood like pine. Mongo has a fixed tooth head that would be better for that size material.
did u install the sliding window
No. It came with it
camera is so far away that you can’t distinguish much.
Gotcha. Should have a new way of mounting camera this week.
Chris has a habit of finding them in the woods when clearing trees
Film from inside the cab. We will be able to see better. If you are doing a large area, try doing time laps with some ASMR background music.
Noted. Working on a new way to mount the camera.
I just had the same thing happen on my sany sy80u!
Any idea what caused it? I didn’t know it was broke until I saw it hanging out.
@AXP Land Management machines have alot of power I've had them break on other brands. The bolt hole for the thumb causes a weak point. That's were mine snapped.
Ours broke right in the middle where the hole for the grease is and somehow I managed to bend the coupler. Still waiting to get it back.
Couldn't the Sany dealer pull one off a machine on the lot to get you going?
They said they checked the lot and didn’t have any. 🤷♂️
so you have a video about the problem with your quick coupler? I'm real close to buying one and would like to know of any potential issues. I have a sy35u. That is one massive stump btw
Yeah. It’s being “fixed” today and hope to have that video up over the weekend. Thanks for watching.
Seems like the little dozer earning its keep.
For sure!!
Looks good. Pretty good video work too. What you filming with? I am going to try to follow along and watch you learning the dozer. I found the channel after I saw a D3 for sale this morning around Swansboro.
I phone 14 in a Rokform magnetic case. I have some more to do with the dozer once it dries out. I’m for sure still learning. Operating it is pretty easy, getting the results I want, is another story. 😂
