Hello. I was looking at your video on latch not locking the sliding door. I pressed the mechanism in to be able to to lock the door but the latch still does not lock nor does not go down. What do I need to do on the handle part for latch to go down. Thank you. Mercy

Good video except you FORGOT TO SAY WHICH WAY TO TURN THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW. Looks like counterclockwise to move closer to move the door closer to the jamb so I assume clockwise to move the door closer to the outside of the door.

What is the make or model of this lock, I need to replace on my sliding door. Thanks in advance

only pre drill through the first layer of the jamb. Don't predrill all the way through. This is not articulated in the video or the instructions.

I have this patio door. My locking action failed and was the result of screws that loosened. To fix it I had to remove the handles, lock lever and retaining screws, then push out two pins. I removed the assembly from the door by slightly spreading the vinyl with a knife and slipping it out. Once out I noticed the four small screws which two were loose and this allowed the mechanism to malfunction. Just took my time and reassembled then used locktight on the screws so it would not happen again. Working great now.

I have a question for you, the balcony door that you show in the video is very similar to the one I have, but mine is already broken so I want to buy a similar one but I already looked for them at Home Depot, menards and lowes and nobody has that one type of handle so I wanted to know if you know of a specific store where I can buy that type of handle.

So I watch all this video to see how this doors work…. And you did not show that. ☹️

What if the door is locked closed after replacing it. We just got a new lock just like that one, got it put on our apartment door. Locked it and now we cannot open it

what do you do when the door locks you out? the lock slips from being all the way up to midway down.

In the first minute, you mentioned if the reveals don't line up you need to adjust that. How do you adjust the reveals?

What about when the lock is super hard to lock and unlock
