I've never really been very religious. But my mother has now screwed me over so badly that, I need Jesus. I've been reading the Bible. And it's brought me peace I've never known. Even though I am still under my mother's thumb, which was her goal she reduced me from a $30 an hour nurse to a, person living in her house because my ex screwed me over so she said "come, move to Arizona" which, I left Florida to do. With my 20 year old son and my 16 year old daughter. Everything she told me was a lie. She didn't want to help me, she wanted me to serve her. Just like my childhood, when I had to clean up her and her husband's messes. They never cleaned anything in their house. They would sing "cinderelly, cinderelly" as I cleaned and they sat and watched TV. Of course my mother in later years blamed my stepfather. And me, wanting my mother's love so badly, believed her. Which has now put me in this situation. She needs someone to care for her for an upcoming surgery. The problem is no one will stay around her or be around her because she is just so awful to people. She doesn't say please or thank you. I don't think I've ever heard her say those phrases in my life. So now I've got to wait I believe she has taken my birth certificate which was supposed to arrive here. Which I need to switch my nursing license to this state. But things are slowly looking better. The moment I started reading the Bible. Things started looking up.
