Met her at 91 Worlds. She was very kind and chill. The only member of women's Team USA who competed who could be found out in public with her family and friends like it was any other day. Fast forward to 2016 Olympic Trials, a "family reunion" of US Olympic gymnasts, and there she was all grown up, just as wonderful as I'd remembered her when we were kids. Took me a few minutes to recognize her. Her gymnastics was definitely a bright spot in our sport's history. And this beam routine would certainly be competitive for Olympic gold during the current 2020-2024 Olympic quadrennium.

Terrible landing almost stumbled over, form breaks, balance checks and a lack of amplitude in all her leaps. There should also have been a deduction for her leotard disappearing exposing her butt cheeks. Wear a properly fitted leotard--it doesn't take much.

It’s frustrating knowing she could’ve won if it weren’t for that mistake on bars, but her beam this competition was probably the best so far from her this year.

I like her floor exercises. She has good grace and artistry

FABULOUS routine!!! I do wonder though---Is it me OR maybe I am not understanding something BUT WHY does it seem like many gymnasts are competing the SAME movements in their beam routine??? As I watched Chiles---I thought "I feel like I have ALREADY seen these SAME moves in someone else's beam routine". I find it BORING to see the SAME moves repeatedly...

That intermediate swing cost her the gold. 😢😢😢

No offense to Jordan but I cannot believe her wolf turn wasnt counted as a fall. Seriously how can anyone ever falll on a wolf turn if clearly using your arm to keep yourself up doesnt count as a fall?

Com essa serie bem simplificada e 2 chegadas com falhas grandes, dificil tirar mais que 13.000. No mudial a serie foi 13900. Achei a nota bem coerente. Brasileiros precisam parar com essa síndrome de injustiçados.

I don’t think this girl can mentally handle the big time. She fell twice on beam at the last worlds too. I would think twice before naming her to an Olympic team.

Her tumbling is excellent but she needs to take ballet and movement class even if only one day per week. Her choreography is not a delight. Back in my gymnastics days we all took ballet.

Yikes. She's losing 0.6-0.8 on the first tumbling pass alone. I hope she cleans up the tumbling. She's like a slightly cleaner Skinner. I fear her score will be hammered at Worlds if she makes the team. She lands the second tumbling pass with her torso parallel to the floor, which is a significant deduction.
