When does the enemy recover iron stance, once you drop the combo?

I'm curious if you'll also do a video on how enemy invulnerable states work. One thing I notice when i'm playing this game that I never see anybody mention is how when you attack enemies they get this effect like they just guarded my attack and it doesn't contribute towards breaking their iron stance. I've been really trying to understand why this happens cause I can't see any reason for when it pops up. I know enemies get it if you attack them just after they aerial recover and some of them get it when they attack, but often times they'll get it even when they aren't doing anything or literally just moving around. Really just any ideas on how this works or what the trigger for it is would be nice since it's kind of frustrating and I can never find any info on it.

I have a question, do multi hit artes break faster than single hit artes or is it just based on the first landed hit for multi hit artes. Or do multi hit artes have the opposite effect where each hit breaks iron stance at a lower rate vs single hit arte

I've forgotten to add this to the video, but normal attacks are around the same tier as Base Artes in terms of how quickly they can break Iron-Stance.

It was a really revolutionary game during my teenage years, considering I didn't start playing this game until 6 years after its initial release. I haven't played a Jump crossover game since this title that has scratched that same itch. Ganbarion was really pushing boundaries with the platform fighter genre with this game. - BreakerTrademark
