He's back in the game! Really nice to see the game from the viewpoit whos been away for 6 months to actually feel the progression theyve made, still a lot of negatvity around the game, but it can be hard to realise the improvments going from patch to patch compared to where the game was in EA1/2 up to EA6.

i love rugby and nrl but these sports games get boring real quick..... i only buy them when there real cheap...

I think they should make some players have their jerseys loose, it looks like all the kits are vacuum sealed on the players 😂

Their priorities are not in the right place. We don't want a stadium creator. We want good gameplay. Like how is it even possible that some penalties are not even added.

Crazy to me that Aussie developers haven't even added the Super Rugby competition or any Oceania/Pacific island competitions. Will definitely not be buying on console if they don't get added

I like your hopeful outlook, I just hope that they don't drop the ball (so to speak) as they have done in the past with games like Cricket 22 and 24, which aren't bad games, just not polished and still full of issues that never get resolved or get worse (I've been burned on this!). It still looks like a frustrating game to play, (at least not a tackle sim now!) but if the progression is good maybe there is good reason to feel hopeful. We need a rugby game that is enjoyable and has all licenses. The wait for now continues...

I just started following rugby when the nfl lost its mind and got woke. And I only followed international Rugby. Is the Major League Rugby group political, or their players? I will watch them if they are not woke.

They have literally used all the Rugby League Live animations from 7 yrs ago and added a maul....

Kicking feels a lot better, shame you didnt get to have much time testing it. Havn't had any crashes on this patch yet, but Patch 2 was rough for stability.

The game looks better, but still there's a lot of work the field looks like a mobile game, the rucking is still slow the game play feels slow stop and go. Rugby 22 is not perfect but still looks way better than this

Yes the game is better, kicking and passing are really better since Last update. Big ant have again lot of work but they re on the right way. Now improve rucks and add new tackles animations for next step 😉

Houston SaberCats has the only rugby- specific stadium in the league. It only seats 4000 people, but there are at least there are another thousand that are in the standing area. It's definitely on the rise!

Im wanting to buy this game just to support the devs as I have played Rugby 22 for a while and thoroughly enjoy it, do you think its worth the investment?

They need to improve on the tackling area. Need variety of tackles to make the game more realistic

Just by watching, I literally hate the tackling. Its so RUGBY LEAGUE 4 where all the tackles are high body only and they just flop to the ground. It literally looks like a LEAGUE tackle, guy gets up then the forwards come in later to form a ruck. At least in RUGBY CHALLENGE the tackles are more realistic, impacts hits, side take down tackles, the graphic realism in RUGBY CHALLENGE at least in the tackle motions are more realistic. This is so RL 4 motion based which for me is a huge put off.

Why is every tackle high?

I'm still a little bit frustrated by the insistence of both this franchise and rugby challenge of using a "push button to tackle" system. I honestly don't like it at all. Every time the games have implemented it has resulted in a situation where, unless your proximity to the player is absolutely perfect when you press the button, the player slides off the opposition player and the tackle command doesn't register. I lost count of how many times I had tries scored against me in rugby challenge simply because the tackle command didn't execute and the enemy player just ran through my defense when I had the marked. Rugby 08 used an automatic tackle system way back in the day and it worked pretty much perfectly. Run into enemy player, player automatically tackles. It is much simpler and frees up a button to do other things. I just don't understand why the devs refuse to use that system. I'm still excited for this, though, and I hope that that will be the only real gripe I have come launch. As much as I'm whinging here, at the very least this system seems more responsive than Challenge's one.

I can even imagine the challenge of coding a game of rugby, the game is so dynamic with so many different aspects of play, so many decisions and different moves a player could make that it would be a nightmare. I honestly think they'll never be able to make any game that comes close to an actual game of rugby but it would still be awesome to play something close to it. Hope they do a good job with this.
