Dude that's just Piedmont Park. Far cry from a forest.
Atlanta is considered to have the most tree coverage of any other major city, that's why he called it that..
Cool
ATL
Hiw many tall buildings are being built? I'm a NYC native, but I'm rooting for Atlanta to build more buildings
I don't think the Atlanta skyline will ever catch up to NYC but they're always tearing something down and putting something up, grin.
Custer died a'running.
I would never have left the Gatling guns behind still the way the American Indian lived..they nurtured the land and had respect for the wildlife and all life ...something we don't have today.
That is not true.
When I was there I wondered why they believed it was necessary to fight over uninhabited land. And after all this time it’s still uninhabited. Madness.
What do you mean, uninhabited? The natives had a hunter-gatherer culture, which meant that they roamed A. To where the animals were; & B. Where the berries & such were ripening. They had only been doing this for the past 11-12 centuries.
I don't recognize any part of this footage as part of the battlefield. Where is it?
I was advised that flying directly over the Battlefield National Monument area was not permitted. You are looking at an oblique view along U.S. Route 212.
Very beautiful part of the Columbia River. Wanapum🤙🏼🌴
I completely agree. I could just sit there and watch the water all day.
Cool 😎
Thanks, Jeff! Best wishes on your adventures!
Was there a few days ago with my Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3 Cine. Love this area to fly drones )
I like this shot along with ones from across the connector by Westside/Grove park.
