Oh, it's so nostalgic, I've already forgotten what it was like when I first held a guitar (6 years ago)... lately I've often felt lame, but when I remember where I started I always calm down a bit... this video perfectly shows what it's like to start playing the guitar... although to be honest, for the first time I was more lame than you in the video😅. Thanks for reviving the memory, it was good for me!😁

Great video and i dropped a sub, hope you get to 2k soon. Guitar is hard to get into but its VERY fun to play once you have the hang of the basics, so here's some small tips of things i noticed. (I'm assuming you tuned your guitar lol, if not that might be your first problem) You were focusing a lot on strumming with your fingers. Personally strumming with your fingers is more of an advanced thing and def not a day 1 thing. If your brother has an electric, i guarantee he has a pick you can borrow. Picks make strumming and picking strings 30x easier as a beginner. If you don't have to worry about your right hand as much, you can put more focus into your left while playing. To practice, i recommend learning the G, EM, C, D chords in order. You can learn to switch from G to EM to C to D and with those 4 chords. you can play SOOOO many songs. And lastly, its GOING to HURT. the first few days my fingers were almost numb. Just pick up the guitar for 5-15 mins like 3-4 times a day and within a week your fingers will be used to it and it wont hurt as bad. and in about a month, your fingers will have calluses and the pain should be almost non existent hope these help lol because i closed out youtube by accident and had to rewrite half of this. Keep up the videos, hope to see progress

I would recommend starting on electric guitar, because the strings are easier to press down. Nice vid btw!
