Love that Dale Earnhardt flag! Have fun man! Wish I could be there!
Its our favorite place in the world!
It's like the fox app for nascar lol
In reference to the computer acting up at the end of the podcast...my bad, thought it was live lol
No rush let us enjoy the man, let us watch his journey. He will be there before you can say Jack Nohi.
That SVG crash probably goes to show how on the limit he is each and every corner, a change in the wind and hes hitting the wall which is why he is so fast, hes not leaving anything on the track.
Bring this man to cup!
Old rednecks huh…. You tards probably drive Prius cars and finger bang each other under the table
This is our #1kiwi st car racer at the pinnacle of his career.A diving force to be reckoned with.Kia kaha Shane🇦🇺

The worst thing they can do is keep SVG out of Cup in 2025. The Cup is much closer to a Supercar than the Xfinity car is. The Xfinity car is slowing him down. He needs to be in a Cup car asap
Other than on a road course he has yet to prove he even belongs in the xfinity series full time . Let him win -5-10 races on the different ovals then you can even mention the words full time cup. This is just getting ridiculous at this point. At the end of this year he will have at most 2 races on any of these tracks and you want him to just move up to cup????? Let’s not forget he’s only in the minor league basically driving against guys just coming up and guys that for one reason or another can’t move up full time in cup. People just need to get a grip.
@richardgabinelli7805 absolutely. He is currently finishing ahead of many of the 'experienced' drivers, he comes from the same school as Scott Mac in Indy Car. You are seriously underestimating his abilities
@@richardgabinelli7805 Fair call and i tend to agree too a point, but and a big BUT, there are numerous drivers in Cup Series now, after 50-70 -100-150+ races never won anything, some have gone 5-7 seasons nothing, so where does that leave him , hard to gauge at this stage really, but if anything adds some excitement to the series, but is that enough to warrant a drive. will get good coverage in the street/track meets, but is that enough to break through on only the, ' I only love Oval supporters
@@richardgabinelli7805 Kyle Larson said last year that svg should just go straight to cup as he's good enough to figure it out. You think you know more than Kyle Larson? ok bud
IF YOU KEEP RUNNING OVER PEOPLE YOU WILL GET PAYED BACK
I know what happened to The Dinger....SVG came in😂 Did you see Dingers face in qualifying when he looked at the monitor after SVG posted his lap, he looked destroyed before he started😂 And SVG is a significant step up on Ambrose on a road course, his record in here in OZ and the US already makes Ambrose look average SVG's Aussie V8 Supercars stats in a mega competitive, very strict rule based series, plus others. 3 time Champion, 80 race wins, 46 pole positions, 3 time Bathurst 1000 winner - Blancpain GT Series Endurance cup winner - GT3 Bathurst 12 Hour race winner - Bathurst 6 Hour race winner - 3rd Overall Intercontinental GT Challenge - 2nd place Daytona 24Hr race. GTD class - 2nd place in a World Rally 2 championship stage - only been out of the top 15 five times in 14 Xfinity races, with 3 podiums already and 2 of them wins. Dude is the real deal with a resume like that, and he is a super intelligent racer, he'll work it out on the ovals in the next year or two. Scott McGlaughlin called SVG 'the most intelligent guy i've ever raced against' and Scotty isnt doing too badly for a open wheel rookie
Giz gunna win Plenty more races!👍
so whats so special about ambrose, checked his stats in nascar and nothing special there
What is so special? Entered V8 Supercars in 2001,secured pole on his first race @ the Australian Grand Prix support race,he qualified on pole again @ round three @ Eastern creek, pole again @ round nine @ Queensland race way, then round 11 @ the Bathurst 1000.(first rookie to so so since 1987.) Stats: 2 Championships:2003 & 2004.147 races,28 wins,66 podiums & 18 poles. You have to also put it into perspective,he was only in the series for 4 short years.Very impressive portfolio. Also won Watkins Glen 6 times.SVG was in the series for 15 years,in that time 3 championships.2016,2021 & 2022.508 races, 81 wins, 176 podiums & 48 poles, but Marcos stats are actually more impressive as he achieved so much in such a short time. Both drivers have exceptional talents & should be respected for that.Marcos & Shane actually speak weekly, with Shane getting advice & tips off Marcos. So stop being so negative about one particular driver! They all have talents.Go & watch Marcos races on road course specifically Watkins Glen.He was fantastic to watch, in many ways he blazed the path for future Australian drivers.
Hate to tell you guys but Cam Waters in the 60 car that you thought was a waste of money, was in 13th place when it got hit by Joshy Berry playing bowling at turn 11. That damaged the front end and he eventually had to retire. Prior to that his strategy was the same as Bueshers and was looking to be second by the last stage. In fact both the Supercars guys were in or just out of the top ten and moving forward when they were taken out of the race by mechanical Issues.
You have seen nothing yet! ‘Marcos Ambrose’ all over again!! 🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Except he’s a kiwi from New Zealand, and on another level to Ambrose..🇳🇿
Next SVG win needs a rugby ball with Austin Hill head sticker on it & watch SVG punt it over the fence
I wish we could see how he got around Chastain
Sad
I left NASCAR several years ago. Smoke may be driving NHRA soon.
Man what an announcement
Bowman the showman❤

Great podcast! Keep up the great content fellas!
Dont watch NASCAR but enjoyed the convo!
That’s awesome! Thank you!
Thats some Cars 1 type shit right there.
randon 18 view nascar video? SIGN ME UP!!!
TMW I see myself in a thumbnail. 😄
Look at them acting like NASCAR is still a thing people care about 😂
I mean the 500 sold out 4 months before the race with about 175,000 people there, the Super Bowl this year had about 62,000 so maybe more people care about it that you think.
Tires are the key, everything else mentioned is minuscule.
Formula 1 tyres are designed to remove water from the surface of the track and away from the car. Temperatures also play a role as F1 tyres are always monitored for temperatures and pressures. Down-force has a big role to play, but if a F1 car hits a puddle it'll slide off just like any other car. Also the surface of the track has a role to play in conditions during rain. You won't see F1 driving in a torrential downpour. There's limits to everything, but F1, being a premier race, designs everything around the ability to race in nearly all conditions.
When it comes to running in the wet, its all tyres.
why don't you just record it normally
Cause he can get more in the vid
F1 runs 19-20 cars atm no less
Does nascar run in the wet on road courses and do they even bring wet tires to any race? Aren’t the cars required to have a wiper blade as well? It would be really cool if they found a way to make it work but even f1 is struggling in the wet mainly due to visibility. They have too much spray behind the open wheels. F1 has intermediate tires and full wet tires. The inters are good but once it gets wets enough for full wets they red flag the race. It has been a big talking point the past few seasons.
I think nascar could learn some things from touring car/gt car racing.
@@mahiru20tenI think especially for the circuits it is probably pretty dodgy on the ovals though
Also these ground effect reg cars are so low to the ground that even a medium size puddle can cause aquaplaning
@nell5643 well, we can usually see gt cars running the wet daytona banks during the 24 hour race...
Nascar does race in the wet on road courses and short tracks
I hope you boys realize it's harder to race under braking and mixed conditions at faster top-speeds with standing water
The clash should be held at a different local small town short track every year.
We have talked about that before. Love this idea.
So glad this is back!
Matt, does that jacket have the fake leather sleeves like the old nascar jackets from the 90s and early 2000s?
