Amazing maneuvers and skill play there, the aim was rough - not trying to hate just trying to help I struggled with P47 aiming too when I was in the BR. Just from personal experience maybe consider having a lower number for convergence (if your usually taking dogfights that close), but I do think it is more standard to have a medium to higher one especially for flying bathtubs lol Also, try leading more. Kind of a given but I’ve noticed the muzzle velocity on the P47 is a little lower then I expected And lastly, if you line up for a shot that has maybe a low chance of hitting, remember you have a bunch of ammo so consider drag shooting here and there. This creates a “wall of lead” and forces them to maneuver how you want them to or they’ll get hit. Just advice, truly nice flying though!

That zoom on the enemy was a mistake, try to fight without zoom :) it is a lot more easier to lead ur shots without zoom in fights less than 1.2 1.0km :)

Japanese planes aren't fast but outrun basically everything, they are allergic to stalling but you should try to maintain an energy advantage. If your dogfighting P-47s, don't get Infront, don't try to run and turn fight it always

It's funny when people start raging because you're playing to your aircrafts advantage instead of the enemy aircrafts advantage.

I like the D28, however, the Italian P47D30 is identical aside from one thing, it has the same air brake as the P47M. Which can help with stall fighting and preventing overshoots. Edit: yak pilots whining in chat is hilarious

14:15 Honestly as an experienced pilots seeing my team mates as a "distraction" was really helpful while flying. Because relying on a random team mate to kill something or not die just gets me killed in 4/5 situations. It's just not worth sacrificing a good position or altitude to save a random team mate that most likely won't kill anything. But losing that position or altitude could cost us the game because I'm no longer in a position where I'm able to carry. One example of relying on a team mate would be: I see a 109 at 6 km but he's fighting 2 team mates. They should be easily able to kill him. I'll go BnZ planes that are under me right now. I look back a bit later and I see the 109 killed both of my team mates and is now above me so my ability to BnZ the rest of the enemy team is gone now. If I just dealt with the 109 myself I could have carried.

I mean, you just gotta know how to use them 🤷‍♂️

The P-47: a giant engine first, then a plane. Love doing the CAS/Anti-CAS role it in GRB because you can dive in and out on incoming planes.

Because the only “good” planes are dogfighters. The rest are just “bad” planes and they have to find a way to win, so they just boom and zoom. Once they are out of energy they are just a piñata. Literally any plane can do BnZ but that doesnt make them a good fighter imo. Literally any plane that has speed and altitude advantage over another is in huge advantage. A good fighter means being good at turnfights, having good maneuverability even at low speed and has good climb rate. Hence the spitfires are hands down the best planes in WW2 era.

I mean, you did the right move, but sometimes saying those things on the chat makes them mad, they forget about the right tactic for their plane, commit a mistake and die. I remember last week how we won a game because I made the last guy mad on the chat, we were 3 5.7 props against a 50mm Me-262, he tried to head-on me, got a severe on him before dying and he died to an allie seconds later 😂😂😂😂

The player that flew their Yak-3 into the ground is a garbage player that has way more talk than skill. It is obvious in how they were flying. A lot of maneuvers burning energy for no reason with you putting light pressure on them. Bad players don't know how to fight defensively at all. Most players that fly into the ground are low quality players because they lack the skill. They know they lack the skill so rather than try and fail because they know they will due to them not being good they just throw their plane into the ground or J out. Their mentality is that they suck, they know they suck so why try? They excuse it with denying someone the kill like it is a meaningful excuse. What they don't get is that part isn't what matters at all. What matters is that they are out of the match and they took themselves out of the match without making their opponent use as much of their own resources as possible, specifically energy and ammo. It is extreme selfishness in one of the dumbest extremes possible. I'm happy to see opponents do it all day every day though.
