Dancing with Groupers at the Austin Smith shipwreck in Exuma. I love to gaze into the eyes of sea critters and watch them eyeballing me back. This black grouper and I spent many minutes with each other doing just that. Her mouth was about 8 inches from my go pro. Diving The Lost Blue Hole, Bahamas

I dived my first ever Blue Hole today. The Lost Blue Hole is 100 feet wide and 200 feet deep. It was super erie, but fantastic! We were a little worried the remora (sucker fish) would swim up Damians swim shorts and latch on, but the crisis was averted! Check out the video to see what it's like to dive a blue hole. So many from the ridge jabbing tiger sharks & in different directions, one using hands to push away, not sure if that end diver (spectator) panicked...be enough to warrant an angry response from that big shark - fortunately doesn't happen...

See if you feel that way when you are on it. The big tiger sharks are 14-16 feet long. Divers have been bitten on this dive.

We really enjoyed our week diving at Beqa Lagoon and the time at the resort. The staff and their families are so amazing and I think they were actually among the highlights of our trip. They were not offering shark dives back then and that's fine because we can do that anytime here in Florida where sharks on dives are more common.
