I purposely didn’t read up on any of the notes apart from what was in Kayalis marketing, I like my blind buys to be truly blind lol.

I’m not super impressed with the set. I think if they cost $75 I wouldn’t be as annoyed, $100 is overpriced. I’m a hard kayali Stan. I love almost everything Mona has put out, just not impressed with these.
@@emily-zx3el I get it. The banana one is my pick- I do really like the scent but I’ve worn them all (except lemon) and the longevity is quite poor. Kayali stan here too hehe x
@@thebeautybloss the lemon one is good after 30 mins on the skin. But they don’t last over 2 hours on me :/ the banana one is my favorite too

1/4 tsp isn’t really a great metric for how much sunscreen is necessary for a face to begin with, it was just a general measurement put out since people weren’t sure how much to use. People have different sized faces and heads in general. Not to mention, as we can see, 1/4 tsp is a *really* thick layer on a lot of people, tinted or not. What’s actually important is making sure there’s a proper, even layer of sunscreen applied every two hours you’re out in the sun. So for everyone trying to figure out how much to use: use enough that you can spread a layer across your skin very easily. You don’t need so much it over-saturates your face.
If it wasn’t tinted and you were using a mineral sunscreen, you would look ghostly white. Some persons cant wear chemical sunscreens
I use the 2 whole finger method with tinted spf, bc people said 1/4 tsp equals to that amount. However.. I feel like I don't put as much as you did in this video. So how many fingers is 1/4 tsp really?
ngl while the 2 fingers sounds good in theory because it makes it simple for people to use. realistically it is not going to be realible even if i tell you to use 3 or 4 fingers. hands are probably one of the most variable things of the body. a 5ft women might have tiny hands but her face might not be much smaller than a 6ft man with huge hands. Aka your fingers might be shorter and thus you need to use more fingers than me. 2. The consistency of the sunscreen would also affect the finger method because some spf are very firm and hold themselves well even in your finger while some spf (especially european) can have a milky consistency so using 2 finger of those is almost neglectable and feels like 1. There is more issues with this method so if you want to be more precise put sunscreen in your fingers like you usually do but then grab a 1/4 tsp and put the product of your fingers into it, if it is still not full put a third finger of sunscreen and so for until you fill the 1/4 tsp and you will know how many fingers you will need of the sunscreen you use for everyday. Personally i just put 2x 2 fingers in my face and 1 for my neck in two layers. so 4 fingers for my face and 2 for my neck but 5m aparts
I think it’s a great way to visualise this. The spf in makeup is great as extra protection and “top-up”. I specially like my lip balms and handcreams to include spf, because i reapply it through the day :)

I'm not interested in any of these. Kayali is always hit or miss for me, mostly miss. The only one I'm remotely interested in trying is orange blossom but it's such a standard note so, I dunno. We shall see!!
Sorry but I don’t understand instead of working on their scents they are more into releasing new ones every other month. With very good marketing strategy, they are poor performers, just good for layering.

Agreed. They could have amazing perfumes, but the longevity is terrible. Just feels like a waste of money to me.
Personally I love Kayali but to each their own
I get excited to smell the new Kayali but still don't like a single one. Sweet Banana and Lemon Sugar by any other house wouid be in my bag, but I just know they will find a way to screw them up.

The oval brush? Or the flat brush? The flat will give a smoother straighter look and the Oval is better for volume and to create a soft bounce with more movement than just straight.
