A girl gave me Tori Amos and said, this is Kate Bush incarcerated, I know, Kate wasn't dead, just music was in general, so she knew that I adored Kate and wanted to give me hope, I think I was going to rehab...Anyway I liked Tori,but Kate ...what can I say!

Tori is an iconic goddess. I've been listening to her for close to 30 years and listening to her has transcended me to a beautiful place. She's unique, she plays the piano so brilliantly. I saw her live in 2002 the first time and I took my mom. I'm going to get tickets to see her this summer and I'm bringing my mom's memory as she's passed too early. Tori will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

First time when I heard Tori I remember it very well...I was angry, because I thought she tried to copy Kate Bush. I was and I am still a big fan of Kate...but after listening to Tori a few times, I realised that she has her own voice, her own style, her own moods...I began to love her music. I never had sorta fairytale with a Tori like girl...

Her voice was clearly not on its best, but she is an incredible artist no matter what. She's unique.
