Good morning! This is not a comment, but rather a question about your “yarn in” and “yarn out” numbers. How do you measure that? Do you weigh the yarn before and after and then convert to meters? How does that work when you’re holding fingering double? I know there is a “simple” explanation - my brain just is making this all a muddle. see you in the next vlogmas. Peace and joy

Yay! It’s vlogmas season! I’ve had a busy December so far so I’m just now sitting down to watch some vlogmas videos. I spotted your gnome made out of the Pencil and Paper yarn set. Adorable!

Love the progress on your blanket! I, too, have that pattern and am thinking about using it with an advent set (20g minis fingering weight) I’m confused about how it works with minis. Starting with section 7 it looks like I’d need more than 20 grams to make each stripe. (I’m also not sure if when the designer calls for 18g of yarn per stripe if that is 18g of DK yarn or if that is also 18g of held double fingering yarn. I’m in a muddle in my head, but I’ll watch your progress and hope that you will talk a bit about yardages and yarn management as you go along. Until next time. Peace and joy

You chose some fun advents again this year. I am doing the Cozy Knitter sock advent as well! You should check out the Exit The Game advent calendar. I think your family would enjoy it. It's an escape room type riddle game (one riddle a day to solve) that takes you through a mystery of sorts to solve by Christmas.

I’m a little late to your party, but I loved the little chat once again. Your NaKniSweMo project is really coming along well. I am sure that you will get it done in time. I had planned on doing that this year, but I’m afraid that the election we had here has has stunned me into a huge funk. Maybe I’ll try for a sweater in the month of January. If you still have knitted projects left after your FB giveaway you might consider giving them away to a hospital or shelter in your area. I know your said “since there was no waist shaping” this sweater could be knit for anyone - but aren’t there other differences between sweaters designed for women bodies and men bodies? Well done on the Whitmoor sweater - - it is beautiful!For your blanket I would not hold the grey together with the advent minis because I think the grey would overposer the other colors - unless, of course, you want a blanket with little shimmers of color popping out here and there.
