Do I gotta do the high pitch voice as well? I've noticed they do this in chinese. It is necessary to sound native?
By high pitch, do you mean the tones? There are 4 tones in Chinese and the tones are very important. With different tones there are different words
@@learnchinesewithjian I mean like when you say "Mā mā" the first mā sounds with a much higher pitch than the second one. In Spanish we only change the tonic syllable, giving it a little more emphasis on the second ma. Mamá. The pitch doesn't change.
Actually, the second ma is a neutral tone. so it sounds really light. some phrase has character with neutral tone, when we see the world, it's best to remember which character is neutral tone. Not all the phrase has neutral tone.
