Andrea & Daniel live in northern Wisconsin and have had many types of RV’s to travel in. We have found our 2008 E350 Ford van to be the most convenient for getting around in all areas, easy to park, easy to travel through cities. We enjoy the simplicity of it and have taken trips up to 7 weeks sleeping in the van. At one time we spent 3 months in the SW pulling a 19’ trailer. I feature videos about short trips around our area of Langlade County, Marathon County and other areas around our home base. We love to hike, enjoy waterfalls, camp to enjoy and visit sites in the area, rarely sitting still for long. We are not experts in creating videos, started this to mainly save our trips on RUclips for our future enjoyment and hope someone else finds some enjoyment in viewing the different spots we have seen too. Drywall in a hallway house entrance

The cold winter months are a good time to catch up on home projects. Here we are deciding to make some changes at the entrance of our home, taking down stained plywood to install drywall. It was much more of an undertaking than we thought - well, plain messy and dusty.

We drove the 57 miles NW from St. Ignace, MI to Tahquamenon Falls which is located between Newberry and Paradise, MI. It is Michigan's largest waterfall. It is only second behind Niagara Falls as being one of the largest east of the Mississippi River in the United States! Historical Mackinac Island

A return trip to Mackinac Island on October 17, 2024. Since we did not take our dog along this time, we could go into the stores, step into the Grand Hotel, take a carriage ride and we spent all day on the island. It is so filled with history, historical building, two forts, Arch Rock and even more to see if you want to rent a bicycle. I know in the video I mentioned how busy a place it is. But...

Our trip along the Mississippi River ended with a cruise on the La Crosse Queen and a stroll through Riverside International Friendship Gardens, La Crosse, WI. The paddlewheel boat took us through Lock & Dam #7. We passed under the La Crosse Rail Bridge. We saw where 3 rivers come together, the Mississippi River meets up with the Black River and La Crosse Rivers. #lacrossequeen #mississippicruise

Niagara, WI: What a scene, the Menominee River and bluffs! On to Piers Gorge and the hike in, so much fun to see this deep gorge between Michigan and Wisconsin. And so many things in Iron Mountain we had never seen before!! We hope you see different things in this video you didn't know about. Even a night at Lake Antoine, the perfect sunset camping site. A visit to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon and Gogebic Counties, Michigan on September 14, 2024 was beautiful. To see Lake of the Clouds again was super great! Then on to the Presque Isle Waterfalls series: Manabezho, Manido and Nawadaha Falls - even while lower than in the spring, great to see. Just think of that walking bridge over the highway was built just for the view which no longer exists now. It's a shame it wasn't maintained by tree trimming. We are just happy the van didn't break down there, in the middle of no place.

/I don't understand, why did the plumber decide to dig up the yard and the shrubs? It seems unnecessary, Most plumbers replace rotted water lines by pulling the new line underground, There's no digging up yards and backfilling, the new water line is pulled from the basement out to the street shutoff beneath the apron, it's fast and efficient, There's no mess in your yard to clean up.
They had to get into the area where it goes into the foundation and the street level shut off valve, all below the freeze line. Also some of the utilities all ran over this and they couldn't risk harming those. Then they also insulated over the top of the new line. This job was through a grant to replace old lead piping with copper. We don't know any more, except this is how it was being done throughout the city. This doesn't answer your question and even online I see how it can be done without digging it all out. It says in rare cases digging a trench is required, so I don't know why it was done all over this city like that.

Yes, we usually look for waterfalls in early May. It can depend on the weather as far as the fall also.

Don't forget to get the fry pies at bakeries around Kingston and there cheese bacon bread just there Friday I'm about 20miles east of Kingston Wisconsin so we get to Kingston and Dalton area often nice video
