Lol comparing texas bbq to Argentinean, what a joke. Texas just overseassons and ruins their meats, there's no flavor contrast, just rub and douse it in seasoning until you can't taste the meat.

It’s definitely a different technique, one that we’re partial to, for sure. When you find incredible Texas BBQ, there’s nothing better in our opinion! 😋 But unlike asados, which are often enjoyed at home, Texas BBQ usually requires some heavy-duty smoking equipment that most people don’t own, so it’s tougher to replicate it well. In our experience, people who can smoke their own meat in TX have been doing so for a long time. We love the idea that asados make meat accessible to all types of people; we’d love to see that concept make its way into Texas BBQ, too. For sure, it was the coolest surprise. 🙌🏼 We definitely got lucky with this hotel! Apparently the noodle service is a hallmark of the brand, though, and we had no idea before booking.

Right?! 🤩 We eat dinner pretty late, so this was our meal - just in pjs!

The coolest evening ritual! So nice that everyone comes from a soak in the onsen, too. The PJs make the whole experience. 😃

We were surprised to learn that most sampuru manufacturers first require restaurants to submit a preserved, real version of the dish so that they may more accurately replicate a model. Serious dedication on both parties’ parts!
