I have to ask you if you have a sharp image in your VR headset. I have a Quest 3 and all the planes are incredibly blurry. Have turned off AA and DLSS. Have also tried oversampling max. It is impossible to identify enemy aircraft at some distance. It looks more like a flying black sticky dot, and it's hard to see which way they're flying. I have tested with Steam VR, OpenXR, cable and Airlink WIFI6. Do you have any solution?
Having the same issue. Looks fine in close distance but far away its incredibly blurry and plane more like blobs and incredibly hard to identify
@@-Xpekt I am running with OpenXR Toolkit and oversampling using it to 4000x4XXX? (don't remember what the second value will be) pixels and it looks much better. I also use foveated rendering in OpenXR, use the Preset mode "quality" setting Toolkit which improves the FPS. I am playing with 72 refresh rate (FPS), my system or GPU (RTX 3080 and i7-12700KF 3.60 GHz) cant handle more in that resolution. But it is stable. Turn off all anti-aliasing and don't use DLSS. Instead, adjust the graphics based on the resolution so you get acceptable FPS. I run via WiFi 6E and virtual desktop. Uses HEVC 10-bit codec at 200 Bitrate. If you don't have a router that supports WiFi 6E, you should use the Link Cable via Oculus Connect via USB3. Will be just as good if not better picture there. In the Oculus Debug Tool. Use H.264 Codec and raise Encode Bitrate to around 900 Mbps, Link sharpening to Normal. You can use the OpenXR Toolkit even if you run via steamVR. however, some problems remain with some planes looking like flies a bit further away, it has something to do with how WT's spotting system works. It seems to differ between Multiplayer and test flight even.
@@bewee2216 Made a big difference. Thanks. Lowered resolution a bit more for my part only which is because im running it with a 3070 Ti. A lot less pixelated and a lot less blurry. Hope this reaches out to more people with the same issue.

I dont have a link cable but on air link the quality of warthunder is terrible how do i fix this?
@@Incubater-yw3hc The link cable could be one of the problems but it could also be in the settings on the oculus app on your pc. I am not for sure on this though. Best of luck to you hope this helps a little. 😁
@@Incubater-yw3hc also a link cable can really be any USB C cable that you can plug into your pc. This includes the cable that you use to charge your headset. 😀
is the plane really terrible?
Definitely not the worst plane in the game and it does have some pretty alright missiles that burn for a while. The main problem with it is you have to be really careful trying to pull hard g's. In all a pretty fun plane still. Hope this helps :)
@@TheFunnyWizard_ well I don't have to worry about pulling hard G's cuz I won't be playing realistic much. Besides all I need to do I to slow down. It also has flares

You can change your steam vr resolution on the steam settings, there’s videos on RUclips showing how to change the steam vr resolution if it’s blurry on quest

when i do these steps my oculus is stuck on “Next up” and war thunder launches on pc mode instead of vr mode

It's impressive that you can lead those 20mms, since I don't have the f5c I only use the f5e and i cannot aim those guns I depend on the lead indicator when you get a radar lock.

I accidentally dropped a 50kg bomb onto an aa teammate somehow because I was fighting another plane
dropped 20 250kg bombs over an objective, got 3 teamkills and 2 enemy kills and one assist with that german seaplane thingy
no but they get mad and kill me on purpose because i shot near them and they don't get any sl taken because the enemy finished the kill
i accidentally dropped a FAB-5000 on 5 of my teammates on accident with pin point accuracy because i was trying to kill the non existant enemies

I also have 1 jet for Germany and the 5.7 line up for tanks. My lvl is 63 and I have 570h and got premium account when I had 150-200h. I have no premium vehicles in my main trees just the bf 109E7 in the Japanese tree to grind some sl 😊

I believe there is a button to change the view in game. If you are using the keyboard, it will most likely be one of the f keys at the top, or V to cycle through them. Hopefully these work, but if not then go check your settings for what your controls are. Hope this helps!❤️

When i try and do that it doen't work. I crashed my game and say something wirh "openXR" i am using it from steam and this started reasently. Maybe you can help somehow

@@TheFunnyWizard_ 1-2 weeks ago. I have done the file repair thing and reinstalled the game and oculus/meta app. The only way i xan do it is by going into the configs and changing vr from "no" to "yes", but it's locked at 20 fps then for some reason
Huh. That’s pretty strange. I’m definitely not an expert on this stuff but the only fix I can think of is figuring out how to get openXR working. I’m sorry I can’t be of much help, I’ve never seen this problem before. Best of luck figuring it out. 😁
