@@2canucksthatlovetotravel Very good, if she was being monitored it's good to get used to depth and buyoancy, someone only grows if it is chalenged, diving always on the same place with the same rotine can be safe but as the other side to give a false sense of security in skills.

​@chamade166 you can have the dive shops train you for a few hrs in a pool and then take you out on a "FUN DIVE". I would 100% recommend getting at a minimum your OPEN WATER CERT b4 going out diving

No.... we were around on the north west side of the island that dive. You will love diving in Penida. Don't be afraid. The dive masters will only take you where it will be safe

No. Beginners should not try drift diving. The dive masters will take you on a dive that is suited to your skill level.

Definitely. The Indonesian government needs to do something to help educate the people on how to recycle or dispose of all the plastics

Unfortunately the people of Lombok don't have the education or government support to properly dispose of all the plastics. Hopefully things change for them soon. It's such a beautiful island with great beaches and lovely people!! Thanks for watching

Hi there. The Royalton Splash has a number of restaurants and pools on site. If you upgrade to the Diamond Club (which I strongly recommend) than you can also use and access ALL of the additional restaurants at the Royalton main resort as well as getting private beach access!! There are LOTS of dining options between both resorts!

Also.... you can take a 2 minute trolly ride between the resorts or walk in less than 8-10 minutes

This elephant Sanctuary treated these animals like gold. They were very well looked after and we did not witness anything that would be deemed unacceptable in 6 hours. We did our research. We had an opportunity to play with, feed, bathe and rub mud on these gentle giants. Not once did we feel they were being mistreated. Thanks for watching

We are now planning Kilimanjaro, Matchu Pichu and the Snowman Trek! The post summit trek was definitely the most difficult part of the 3D2N for sure. Happy hiking!

Hi there. Thanks for watching. You can definitely explore each Gili in about 1 day. Our fave was Gili Air. Less busy than Gili T but still great restaurants and bars and beaches!! Gili T is definitely for partying! Enjoy your holiday. You will love it there!!

Don’t attempt drift diving without getting a specialization in drift diving AFTER you get open water certified

depends how comfortable you are in the water, if you have been swimming/playing water sports all your life, the camera is not going to affect you much as everything else is already second nature. I would suggest you bring along the camera and if you feel overwhelmed then just focus on the dive instead. it doesn't hurt to bring along

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Ends up I didn't bring GoPro because the instructor doesn't allow us to do that. But it's a correct decision because as a newbie I was busy equalizing and removing water from the mask, and also swim by holding my arms to the front, so my hands won't be free to hold a camera 😂
