Brewzilla / Robobrew Control Panel Relocation
Просмотров 4,9 тыс.3 года назад
The Brewzilla is a great all in one electric brewing solution. My main complaint about the unit is the location of the control panel. In this video, I attempt to resolve that issue. Credit to ruclips.net/video/ziTOfE6PdWg/видео.html for the initial inspiration for this project.
Good video!
Two years since you made this..... did anything not work as well as your hoped? Anything you wish you'd done but didn't? I'm thinking of doing the same, but also moving the pump and heating element switches too
I to have just received my unit. One would like to think a simple socket on the side and an external unit to plug into the socket would allow you to raise and lower as this mod has done. Let's hope they are taking note.
Very nice, very nice indeed, I might have used a different type of internal connector, but still a great tutorial. Would love to see more Brewzilla hacks and mods from you as I am sure many many more would.
I'm sure there is an 8 pin plug and socket available on the internet, which would prevent cutting the Ribbon cable - I also have recently purchased the Brewzilla 35l and may do this Mod after I have used the Brewzilla a few times ...joe
Great video, hope to see more content from you! KW M makes some good points. I am considering either this upgrade, or possibly a Smart PID conversion.
The non-destructive AvE. ;-) Nice idea, maybe I’ll do it myself.
Neat. Looking at the innards, I'd probably lengthen the terminal block wires and bring the main board, as well as the LCD display unit, outside into a separate enclosure.
That's a good idea! That would remove all the electronics from the base of the unit. Could also move the pump and element buttons as well to a single control box. Hmmm....
@@directorofunnecessaryproje7969 indeed, and it would also negate having to cut into what are almost always temperamental and unreliable ribbon cables and risking ruination.
