Welcome to Ray's Bonsai. I've been involved with bonsai for over 30 years, this channel will be about growing from seeds and cuttings. Starting in the ground, into large containers and finally into ceramic pots.
I hope this will be helpful to others. The filming outside and the weather conditions don't make it easy to make videos of good quality of trees in the ground, so please bare with me on this.

Loads of little branches! Mine have done well this year as well. Been good weather for bonsai growing. Let's hope the winters not too harsh

Mines still doing well Ray. I haven't done any branch selection or wiring yet though. What's growing is quite vigorous

Love this composition ray its suggest really wild places. Has it lost a rock maybe ?
Hi Steve, I think it was originally designed as a exposed root design but lost its way over the years
I love that tree. The exposed roots are beautiful. Shame about the dead branches but im sure itll be fine after a repot next year
Great stuff Ray. Pity there wasn’t the ideal shaped rock to manipulate under those roots.😅
I find trying to fit rocks to existing roots never works visually,
