IPMS Seattle Spring Show 2024 - Pictures
IPMS Seattle had their 2024 Spring Show and Contest on April 27th. I Participated with my 1/350 Klingon K'tinga. There were a lot of talented builders on display and many vendors selling new/old Model Kits. The show is typically in early spring yearly at the Renton Community Center.

Update on my Millenium Falcon progress. I am currently adding several 3D Resin parts from 308 Bits on Shape ways. Specifically, replacing the Engine Vents, Louvers, and Fuel Towers. I also have replacements for the Panzer Tanks details on their way. Additionally, I am writing a custom Arduino Progream and creating a PCB to handle the lighting and Sound FX.

I've spent the last couple years working on this model, starting mid pandemic. This is a visual log of some of the steps I took to complete this model. Parts Used: 1. Round 2 1/350 Klingon K'tinga 2. Paragrafix Photo Etch Detail Set 3. Aztec Dummy Paint Masks 4. Arduino & Adafruit Mini SFX Boards 5. EasyEDA PCD Design and Manufacturing. 6. Modelers Decal and Paint for Acrylic Paints

I just started my klingon kronos one build with light kit. I put in rapid blinking RBG leds in the photo torpedo tubes!
This is all custom Arduino driving LED's. I think there are 7 or 8 LED's in the tube.
mine's delayed due to the lighting kit so i'll build a BF109 1/32 whilst waiting.............this Kronos 1 is very sharp and detailed, quite surprised at the quality of the moulding.
It's basically the same kit as the K'Tinga with extra parts to make it Kronos One which was a great kit.
excellent, i've just got the Kronos 1 but delayed due to the lighting kit; it won't be here for ages yet...... so no point really starting it.
Yeah, I am skipping the lighting kit. I have the board and code for this so I am set.
Awesome! I like the lighting and sound effects 👍I'm still waiting for that kit to make it down here to NZ but they're surely taking their time about it. Got every other Round 2 Star Wars re-pop except for the Falcon. Are you going to detail the engine deck with greeblies? it does still look a little bare, Round 2 could've at least added some more detail to the area if they were making changes to the side walls. Subbed.

Thx, I do most of the lighting on my own home grown. I like the challenge. Plus I already have the design from K'Tinga that I can swap into this one too.

@@malcolmmacdougall Well a lot of people painted K'Tinga like on the box, it looks like either a Toy or a Quilt. You have to spend time picking colors and blending them, so it looks in scale which it seems 99% of people don't do. It's a race to get it built. To each their own I typically spend more time on color and distressing.
hi, they've got the colours wrong and it looks childish, i'll go for grey or green, it would look far better like a normal cruiser with just the wings done; if you see what i mean. @@GalacticScaleModels
