Why they need to speak malay? Same as we cannot speak thai as well.. they no need to speak malay
Fidelis chin they are malay, but they are thai citizen, if you go to other provinces in the south such as pattani, narathiwat and yala.. near the state of kelantan, people there can still can speak malay. I have many friends from there.. because the southern part of thai used to be part of malay kingdom but then they were colonised by siamese... you can read the history
