not all of them have the front and rear diffusers. early model base GT-Rs dont have them, although yes it would be inaccurate for this as it is supposedly a V-Spec

Firstly, It’s an 🍆💦 coloured car Secondly, if you watched until the end you would know I have a house 😤 Thirdly, and now honestly, I actually found this one for about half the price of a normal one. Owner didn’t show any issues about it and I thought it was a great deal until it arrived. That’s why I had to return to basics of this channel 😂

Good question! What I did is I simply bought a complete polishing kit in a local store. It’s a little box for “car paint repair” in which a tissue, two compounds and sandpapers are found. For modelcars I’m using first paste (to eliminate bigger and deeper scratches) and second one (applying it to have an overall smoother and glossier finish) sequentially. There are different compounds available though, but it’s important to read how to apply them right. Some are only applied on a heated surface for example. I hope my answer was useful!

@@Bluecarrr Thanks for replying, i found a set from Tamiya which contains 3 compounds, it looks to be pretty popular among people who build models from kits. So I am definitely going to try that set, since users are very pleased with it.

Haha, good one! They weren’t actually the fastest of their kind, but they weren’t slow for their time either. Smart roadster has got 82hp as I mentioned which is enough to reach speeds over 180kph 😀

Hey there, I don’t remember having this problem on my 550. The paint in general was in a quite good condition and I only had to polish its surface. When I have something like in your case I try to clean it away or polish out. I have no instruments to repaint modelcars and I hope you will not need to do that

Good question. I think if we only consider quality, that would be Kyosho. They use better materials, better paint and arguably put more details than Norev. F90 is more fragile too; it has some scratches on windshield already, just from cleaning it, while G30 is looking perfectly fine after three years. I think I wrote my opinion on these cars in description of the video 😉

I wish I could sell you mine! It’s an interesting pattern that every time the production of these models stop, prices skyrocket into outer space. I purchased this particular G30 three years ago now for about 30€ and I’m glad that I did, now I couldn’t afford one 😅

It’s a great idea, but the objective of this project is to keep this time capsule as close to its original look as possible. Maybe if I purchase something that isn’t that valuable or rare, I’ll try modifying it to made more high quality and realistic looking 👌 The polishing part is obligatory for all the restorations. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it!
