How do you locate the exact replacement parts, especially the older styles?
for our job there was a number stamped on the arm. Then I went to Andersons website. Searched through their parts. Then I found it.

I have a similar style cover with no screws and cannot find any information on how to take the cover off. Spoke to two Andersen reps, both of which said it should pull right off and one of them said the casing may be holding it on. I stated it rocks left and right and there is no paint holding it in. Seems like the center is held in somehow. Tried pulling it off by hand, using a screw driver, clamp to get a good grip and small pry bar. It's not coming off. Any suggestions?
Not sure. I'm sure you took the crank handle off first and then tried to pry the cover off right? Other than that I do know that they usually just pop right off. Keep me posted when you figure it out.
@@buckeyedoorsales4353 Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I took the handle off, but the cover would not budge. I'm just concerned that this is the older of the older ones the Andersen rep said would need the bottom molding to be removed first, which makes no sense to me, but I will look into this further and definitely pass along the results.

It really wasn't that bad actually considering what a new window costs. I think it was 50.00 plus shipping.

@@buckeyedoorsales4353 install a garage door at home but I think the two springs have too many turns since the door opens by itself from the pressure that the springs have, and if I take a spring off the spring, the strings that are holding the door are loose, you know what is the problem, if you could give me an idea
Normally the doors need go up by itself? Or not

That’s right. If the door is on manual and it goes up with very little help, odds are, springs are wrong.
