This antenna is on its way to me. To replace my (new) A99. Because the a99 performans so bad! Before I had a cheap ½ wave antenna ,but 100w max. So I thought the a99 which is an icon is an upgrade. Well its deaf! Thanks for showing this. Hope to have perfect swr using the markings. If not; it says you need to shift the lower section ??? Or the top?

I have a tx to and wow I'm impressed with the radio...I do use hamradio to but getting back in to 11meeters and this radio is the radio for that...I have a midland alan multi and the tx is far more better in all aspects...would love to se SSB on the tx..and this radio be the best...😊😊

Have 1 & love the radio, well worth £99 for anybody to invest in, I use an Hawkins Thunderbolt Ssd12 antenna on mine, but 4w still has its limits. Highlights are the NRC, it's 2nd to none & crystal clear Rx. 👍👍

How on Earth did you guys come up with a 9.9db gain??????????????? now your defying the laws of radio physics!!!.. that "end fed dipole" which is just that, if your lucky, will only have a few DB (1.5 to 2) gain over a half wave dipole at best. I really wish companies would quit it with the false claims only to get sales, It's WRONG!!!. Companies like this give the hobby and other legitimate antenna companies a bad rap.😏👍
