*This is what the "Redux" ruined for me over the original.* I'm guessing that everyone visiting here doesn't know, as I don't seem to see anyone talking about it, but the actor for all the kids in both the first and second Metro BEFORE the Redux was completely different, and I think was a legit kid. I don't understand nor have seen any official reasons as to why they changed it, but regardless of their intention or reason, it clearly didn't pan out. For those who want to hear what the kids in this game sounded like BEFORE the redub in the Redux, search up *"Metro 2033 - PC Walkthrough Part 21: Child"* by *"Megaspartan23"* and you will see this exact same scene, but with the original voice that sounds more genuine, and not so slow to the point that the audio gets cut off.

Seems like fun!

The game crashed while i was doing this part, and i had to take a break from the game for the rest of the day just to build up enough mental fortitude to deal with that little shit again.

actually I kind of liked it xD ahahahahaa I love the game and I am a huge fan so that might influence my liking a bit but still one of the best if not the best game EVER! last of us was there but with the 2 release it went to shit.

And that's why I tend to play games of foreign origin with original language voices, whenever possible. At least I won't have to worry about performances being contrived or poorly-done since I'm unfamiliar with the languages in question.

The non-redux had much better voice acting for the kid. I had to play this sequence in russian.
