Al Anderson is still one of my favorite guitar players. Both studio work and live he was exceptional, and always playing some of the most tasteful and fierce solos. Edit: Al Anderson and most of the band is also on Peter Tosh legalize It album, and even more amazing guitar work and solos throughout. Amazing album.

The palm muting is killing the tone of that skank. I suggest practicing the muting with the left hand by lightly touching the strings in the shape of the chord.
