    As someone who has worked in the pesticide industry for over 7 years (agricultural & structural regulatory) for the biggest company in pest control, allow me to let y'all know that he's definitely tryna sell you something lol. sometimes, even the RUP's these guys use don't work - it's really just about how you attack the problem. Read the label thoroughly, if you follow instructions & keep up with maintenance & aftercare you can definitely rid your home of pests without spending a pretty penny. If you still want to, go for it, but it definitely works.

So I had boric acid on hand and just wanted to use anything to them right then and I sprinkled it everywhere in my car. I found 3 dead the next day clinging to the seats.. I used 100 percent boric acid. So they say it doesn’t work but I think it does and I’m gonna order a better recommended bottle when I get paid

If you’re recording free your phone there are free apps you can use to do the basic video editing like cut and splice to avoid what looks like you were carrying your phone in your pocket for the last couple minutes. Either way I appreciate you making these because I find them helpful.

      I used a soft cheap little paint brush to dip into the dry powder and gently applied it in a thin, nearly invisible layer. Bed bugs don't sense any danger from a little dust, and will walk on it. It slowly dries their exoskeleton and kills them. I didn't have a puffer. It looks like it does a quick job and takes a little practice to get it thin enough. Maybe a brush could spread it after you puff it too thickly.

  • @verlenedawson2064
    @verlenedawson2064 Год назад

    Food grade diatomaceous earth didn't puff up into the room for me to breathe when I used a small soft paintbrush to gently dip into the powder and apply a thin, nearly invisible, layer of it, 6 inches wide, all around the outer edge of my bare mattress where bed bugs will walk This video shows how thinly it has to be applied. Bed bugs don't sense any danger from walking over such a small amount. It only takes a tiny bit of the DE to stick to the bed bugs and slowly kill them by drying their bodies. Bed bugs are vampires that feed only on fresh blood from a live host. HUMANS ARE THEIR FOOD SUPPLY. .They hide close to where we rest on the sofa, soft chair, or the bed so they have a short distance to travel to drill for warm, sweet blood when we are asleep in the dark or resting. I took the sheets and blankets off of the mattress and put a sleeping bag in the center to sleep inside. No bedding hung over the edge of the bed.. Bed bugs had to walk across the ring of DE on the mattress to get to me. I was the bait in this special trap to lure the bed bugs to their death. Some of the bed bugs made the trip to me during the first night. They walked across the DE and bit me for the very last time, and returned, full of blood, to their hiding places where they slowly dried up and died. Each night some of the other bugs walked to me. I didn't get very many bites, and was surprised when there were no more of them after a week or so.. They normally like to feed about every 5 days if they are undisturbed and feel safe enough to leave their hiding places. I didn't do anything to spook them, I tricked the bed bugs into thinking it was safe. I hated being bed bug bait at night. It was not easy to do, but I knew that as long as they were alive, they would continue to bite many times during their long lifetime. I wanted to get rid of them. If I ever get bed bugs again, I know an easier, more fun way to do it. I will apply the food grade diatomaceous earth to the mattress and PUT A SANSBUG PORTABLE BUG TENT in the center to sleep inside instead of a sleeping bag. At night the bed bugs will smell me and walk onto the bed to have a drink of my blood, but after walking across the DE, they WON'T BE ABLE TO GET INSIDE THE TENT TO BITE ME. The DE powder clinging to the bed bugs will kill them. Bed bug EGGS can hatch a few weeks after the adults are dead. It was IMPORTANT for me to continue sleeping this way for at least a month to lure the new babies to walk on the DE so they didn't mature into full grown breeding bed bugs. I slept in the sleeping bag for more than a month, even though there were no more bites after the first few days. The bed bugs did the work of walking across the DE to kill themselves while I slept. I didn't do anything else in the house to get rid of all my bed bugs. All I did was treat the bed. I did not have a sofa or soft chairs.

      As long as the powder is kept dry and undisturbed, it will kill bed bugs for many years. I never vacuumed up the tiny amount of food grade DE, but I did apply a little more on the mattress where I rubbed it getting in and out of the sleeping bag. After more than a month, when all the bed bugs had killed themselves by walking across the powder, I put the sheets and bedding back on the mattress. No other work was needed.

    • @JaxCover
      @JaxCover Год назад

      Verlene, I'm so glad you're still answering questions! Thank you! 😊 Did you keep your head OUT of the sleeping bag bc I know the bugs need to sense Carbon Dioxide, and that comes from our breath. And just for confirmation, it is safe for us to be exposed to Food Grade DE even if it's that close to us- in our beds and moved by us in the bed -because jt contains very little crystallized silicon particles, correct? Thank you in advance for answering, dear.

    • @verlenedawson2064
      @verlenedawson2064 Год назад

      I kept my head out of the bag to get a fresh supply of oxygen. Inhaling excess carbon dioxide is unhealthful. I did not put my face close to the powder. The bed bugs walked across the powder and it stuck to their bodies. Other bed bugs inside the nest were attracted to their fresh blood supply after they bit me. They rubbed against the powder to dry up and die together. If I ever get get bugs again, I will begin killing them by vacuuming as many bed bugs as possible first before applying the food grade diatomaceous earth to the bed. There will be fewer bed bugs to walk into the trap and bite me. Watch "How to Modify a Vacuum to Remove Bed Bugs".
