great content, really appreciated!!

Making that wall fit so perfectly with the stairs looks nice
I never thought of painting stairs to make sure no one messes with my tape.
I was surprised by this use too... Typically I only see paint used to protect 'wet paint' signs
wow risk management irl🤯
it's definitely out there! (and a lot more frequently than we think)
This is the same reason why book/novel formatting is important as well
100%! All text benefits from formatting

Thank's for your présentation. Do you know if it's possible to make graphs from the database data? Like a histogram or a pie chart?
Hey Stephan - I haven't found any way to visualize database information yet. Hopefully they'll add this to their roadmap, but right now databases appear to be more about managing information than visualizing it.
Great video! So sweet!
Thank you! Very fortunate to have my mom, and for everything she has done (and continues to) do.
this is dope
It's been very helpful for folks who don't have time to learn jql... Also helpful in learning it since it will show you the underlying jql it uses
Thank you. With what system can you compare confluence? What is the advantage of confluence. I use trello for projects and evernote for Notes
Heya AdalydGarcia - Confluence is essentially a collaborative knowledge base, so it is similar to tools like Microsoft Sharepoint. Personally I like it because it natively integrates with Jira (another tool made by the same company), and it happens to be the tool most company's I work for use. Based on your info it would be more similar to Evernote, but be more collaboration/team focused. Check out any of my "Live Basics Trainings" video to see what it can do! ruclips.net/user/liveCmpvpSzvjOI
It's similar to Notion but natively integrates into Jira and other Atlassian products, such as Trello. Really good at embedding content from other services and helping align teams.
Thanks, I was looking for this! 😁
Glad you found it helpful!
Insightful video Rob👍
Glad you found it useful!
Appreciate this content. Short, sweet and to the point.
Most welcome! Hope to have more on databases as I find new ways to use them.
Do you mean that remote it jobs don't require calls it just me and the system?
It sounds like you're asking if remote IT jobs don't require calling folks or getting calls from customers... if so, it depends on the job. Some remote jobs will require using the phone or video conferences, while others won't. The job description should tell you!
@@HeanDotTech what about company such support adventure? I'm living in middle east and wanna enter the global market to be working remotely, I'm a student and looking for a field kinda easy to get into and get my first job remotely what do you recommend for me? Thank you for the time and effort
Please guide to learn
Hello! Please check out my confluence playlist, and upcoming live tranings for more info!
I M intersted to learn confluence
Heya - great to hear! Take a look my Confluence playlist, there's a number of recorded live sessions and other videos that will help you out. Also check out my upcoming live trainings, there's 2 every month!
👀I see those usernames when you're searching assignees. #AtlassianCreator
I only include the best in my videos :D
I already love Kanban but I could definitely get down with some BeachBan! Very jealous! 😂
It wasn't as amazing as I hoped. The tide erased it very quickly!
People say I'm "a" Jira guy...
Yeah, I've heard that...
Everyone is asking What is Confluence, no one is asking How is Confluence. Accept the Atlassian Admins. They kind of obsess about it.
Hah, fair! I've found that the Cloud versions feel more aloof than Data Center... or maybe I just don't get the same view of cloud instances.
They made all of the pay phones in Australia free to use ✨
Learned something new! Also incredible they kept them and made them available that way.
Do most people prefer payphones?
Before cellphones, yes!
@@HeanDotTech well no shit. You just made it sound like you were so sad that we no longer preferred payphones
Ah, gotcha! Only in a nostalgic way... It was really nice not being tethered all the time. And it was satisfying to punch the buttons when dialing.
Now I'm hungry...
:D Highly recommend them if you ever get the chance.
Another question I've been asked is "Will these tools make Jira & Confluence Admins redundant?" Yes, the most visible part of our job for most users is when we swoop in and solve some tough JQL challenge. And while I'm looking forward to getting less of those tickets, what most people fail to understand is that is only a part of what Jira & Confluence Admin does. Generative AI is great and creating something from some input, but the ability to take a set of requirements, take in variables such as the current system configuration, best practices, and nuance and details that a user may forget about, and distill that into a usable project or space is something it isn't capable of doing. May it get there someday? Maybe. But I don't think it's the end of the Jira or Confluence Admin just yet
Definitely agree... Admins are like icebergs, at least in that 90% of their work can be totally invisible to folks (and in my mind if they're good it stays that way). Where id love to see these tools go is towards making admins lives easier so they can focus on engaging with users to understand and meet needs.
Awesome!!!
Appreciate the view and comment! Let me know what else you'd like to see.
Great Video Rob! Customer expectations are always a tricky thing to deal with, glad to see content addressing that!
Appreciate the comment! They certainly are challenging, but thankfully not as scary as I first thought.
Very useful! I hadn't realized it, but it's great for daily work! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful!
Hi hean! What about inline comments? Why don't they work for capturing required edits?
They definitely can! I use these as well, but I find it's really easy to lose track of them. I find they work in smaller environments, but once groups get bigger than a certain size having a ticket makes tracking a lot easier. (plus you can report on them).
Awesome video! Super helpful, to the point, and easily explained. Thank you for this excellent tutorial.
Fantastic video! Very informative!
Thank you!
