Roughly 30km from Mallacoota Victoria, Genoa Peak is a steep granite peak hike (489m elevation), providing sweeping views over Croajingolong National Park, Mallacoota Inlet and the Howe Range towards the NSW border. Mount Kosciuszko Summit Walk - Australia's Highest Mountain

Mount Kosciuszko is Australia's highest peak standing at 2,228 metres. I caught the chairlift up from Thredbo and started the 13 km return hike to the Summit, completed early December 2020. A mate and I did this hike a few weeks ago. We’d had a few unsuccessful attempts over the years. It was nice to have a swim at the bottom.

Didn’t show the 3 other falls in between that one and the 2nd set of falls at the start of trail and there’s more beyond that as well. Definitely could spends a solid few days exploring. The other side at the base of the road has a good trail as well if the carpark is full at clover hill fire trail and it’s worth the trip.

Did you use the old logging track? With the steps? Kinda looks like you went down the eastern side of the cliffs
Hello. No I didn't use the old logging track, I'm actually not familiar with that
@@explore8431 the northern side has a pass called missingham steps on google maps. The track is hard to find as doesn’t get used much. But it’s got nice old stone steps in sections, similar deal with belmore falls has a old logging track to the lower sets of falls which are nice, especially during summer as belmore falls doesn’t get a great deal of sun at the first drop. When’s the next video coming out for places to explore?
@@nfi2nfi2 oh yes I have heard of missingham steps but haven't done that walk. Haven't done belmore falls either but it does look nice, would like to do that one day. Um I am not to sure, hopefully won't be too long 😀

Not super easy, worth reading up on it before you go to best find the track down and be prepared for the walk 👍

@@pfizer2457 sorry mate did this a while ago now so couldn't give a good answer. The chair lift runs all day, so as long as you get back by late arvo you'll be right. I went up in the morning and made it back with plenty of time (round lunch). Enjoy, it is a great walk 😀👍
