One of the greatest tennis players in history, Roger Federer has won a record 20 Grand Slam singles titles. Born in 1981 in Switzerland, Roger Federer was among his country's top junior tennis players by age 11. He turned pro in 1998, and with his victory at Wimbledon in 2003 he became the first Swiss man to win a Grand Slam singles title. Federer has won a record-setting 20 Grand Slam singles ...

Juan Martin del Potro forehand compilation SLOW MOTION
Просмотров 11 тыс.5 лет назад
Del Potro's biggest strength by far is his forehand. Widely considered to be the best in the world, the Argentine's forehand has power as well as accuracy, and can break open any point with just one swing. He has a good serve, and usually gets quite a few free points off it. He also has a good return, and uses his long limbs very effectively to reach wide serves. Del Potro's backhand is easily ...
Zverev forehand evolution in 3 years SLOW MOTION
Просмотров 11 тыс.5 лет назад
Zverev is an aggressive baseliner who uses his height and power to send the ball consistently deep and push his opponents on the backfoot. Zverev's game is heavily dependent on his serve, which he hits flat and hard. His backhand is also very flat and forceful, while his forehand has relatively more topspin. Zverev doesn't come to the net a lot, but he has publicly declared that he wants to inc...
Roger Federer backhand compilation SLOW MOTION

Roger Federer’s achievements in professional men’s tennis are without parallel. No man has won as many Grand Slam titles, nor appeared in as many Grand Slam finals. Alone in the history of men’s tennis, he has won three of the four Grand Slam tournaments on at least five occasions. He has been Wimbledon singles champion a record eight times, holding the title in consecutive years between 2003 a...

Williams is primarily a baseline player, and her game is built around taking immediate control of rallies with her powerful and consistent serve, return of serve, and forceful groundstrokes from both her forehand and backhand swings. Novak Djokovic serve SLOW MOTION - 3 different directions
Просмотров 19 тыс.5 лет назад
During the serve and groundstrokes, tennis players are putting the racquet head in an orbit around their body. We normally put satellites into orbit with a multi-stage rocket. A tennis player can be considered a five-stage rocket consisting of the legs, hips, shoulders, arm and hand. As with a rocket, the most powerful stages are at the bottom, and the smaller, less powerful stages at the top. ...
Caroline Wozniacki Best points ever
Просмотров 8 тыс.5 лет назад
Wozniacki is a defensive player who relies on her speed and consistency to outlast her opponents. She stays rooted to the baseline in most of her matches, and comes to the net only when forced to. Wozniacki has a heavy topspin forehand which she rolls crosscourt on most occasions, but her backhand is flat and penetrating. She hits her backhand slice and her volleys with an unusual two-handed gr...
Sloane Stephens Best points ever
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.5 лет назад
Stephens is a defensive counterpuncher by nature, and usually stands well behind the baseline. She likes to absorb the pace coming from the other side of the net and redirect the ball using her hand-eye coordination, and wins a majority of her points by forcing her opponents into errors. That said, Stephens is blessed with plenty of power on her own, and can knock off winners when she gets shor...
Angelique Kerber Best Points Ever
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.5 лет назад
Kerber is an out-and-out defender, and relies primarily on her speed, anticipation and footwork to win matches. She rarely, if ever, comes to the net willingly; the majority of her time in any match is spent at or behind the baseline. Kerber's serve is not a typical lefty serve and lacks the heavy swerve that the likes of John McEnroe and Petra Kvitova have made so famous, but she does use the ...

i miss Simo. She is innocent. someone is trying to frame her!😤😤
She's not a defensive counterpuncher, but rather an all-court player who - when at her best - excels at point construction and varying her game based on the opponent or surface. That's why you'll see her play entire matches maintaining huge power and aggression, some playing primarily defensive, and others using cat and mouse defense to offense. When she's off or disinterested, however, she can lose focus and drift too much between approaches.
2:38 nice
there is a noticeable difference between 2008 djokovic and 2011 djokovic in terms of the take back, the serve trophy position is also different
Tennis very official classical game...
Hard to see in the last part, but he now hits with a straight arm.
SHE'S BACK.... Simona " I like trophies " Halep .... Bringing her charm to #USOPEN23
This man inspired me to play tennis. I love you Roger. I miss you on the court tennis will die for me when you retire.
Love the music

Many thanks

the music oh lord
♥️♥️♥️
great video
Love the music. Very well suited for him
The back view is his old serve technique which has been improved already.
It appears that he does not look at the ball as it makes contact with the raquet... Do all the pro's do that?
No mercy Osaka. The best of this time. Works hard to become better.
So beauftiful....
Beatiful 👌💪👍
Perfect spacing from the ball.
It's classic forehand flat face with ver eastern grip at the impact, unlike Federers modern forehand pronation rolls at the impact.
Where is the evolution? Exact same forehand since 2008
Shorter swing
He now strikes the ball exactly how Roger does, except he has a semi western grip.
Thanks for the share - best
grey and blue shorts was stillness and perfect balance - spinal axis upright , left hand controlled and tucking in to transfer rotational momentum to right. Blue shirt had much more spinal axial undulations which is a consequence of disbalance and recovery, the left hand was floppy around to help compensate as well and thus squandering its rotational momentum. This is more throwing the body and then balance recovery. All this kinesthetic noise is energy and neuromuscularly costly. When stillness goes so does precision. If we´re talking strictly bioengineering efficiency, then its 3rd to first. 2019 AO tapes confirms this best of all path of evolution. If you ain´t improving you´re dying. Gotta be the coaching. Past results being irrelevant this bodes well for assaults on the overall and consecutive Majors records. I used to despise young Nole but now I admire the grownup version very much and am rooting for his GOAThood.
The view from left is an old version of its serve... Pity
I didnt notice much of a change in his forehand motion though looking at his matches from the past few years
He actually swings like this when he’s a teenager

Best forehand ever
A whip like motion but with more forward movement than Nadal..
It's a beautiful motion, TBH... 🤩
He was trying to copy Djokovic with his early forehand
This is far far from his best shots lol very bad combinations
