Disabled Diaries
Великобритания
Добавлен 21 май 2018
Hey!
I'm Sarah, I have POTs, FND and Joint Hypermobility(EDS?). These make me disabled and mean I tend to go out in my wheelchair.
I live in England with my family and my 2 cute cats. I like filming these cause they give me an escape from my complicated life

Disabled Dating - Disabled Diaries 72
Просмотров 852 года назад
In which I introduce my fiancée Ingrid. People think an able bodied person dating a disabled person is a heroic deed and brave to put up with it. This is ableism. I have internal ableism, so I believed I would never find someone to put up with me and my complicated life. Then I found Ingrid, who I think is a hero, not because of any of this, but because of who she is as a person. Hope it's not ...

In which I show you my tics and what helps. They've only been a main issue for a bunch of months and they reckon they're from FND so I know very little about them still and they change just to make it more confusing.

Knee Dislocation aka. EDS Problems - Disabled Diaries 51
Thanks for sharing. Listening to others to understand their lived experience gives me/others the foundation for having empathy/understanding so I/we can do better when we design and create environments that are inclusive. I appreciate the communication and posts you provide about your experience (even the tangents!)
Your favourite northern runaway will always be watching 😜😘
I am watching ☺
Do less effort in your videos
Hey , I realise your video is a bit old now at this point but it did cheer me up a bit. I have a genetic degenerative eye condition. In recent years I have had side effects of my condition worsen. Specifically light sensitivity and eye fatigue. This has made it difficult for me to do social things because I can only handle so much sunlight. Because I can't manage work the pandemic didn't change much about my life. So I feel that I can relate to that. If you ever want to chat then let me know.
I have FND as well. I’ve shared some videos on it to also try to spread awareness. My issues are more commonly jolts, yelping, screaming, laughing, doing something like the limbo, neck tics, etc. I think more people should hear about FND for awareness. Thank you for sharing!
This has made we Smile. Well done. :-)

Waw awesome 👌😍 mam
Bit late to the game but I love it! :)
Have you experienced health anxiety? This is starting to become a thing with me, and the fact that I have OCD doesn't help things.
I mean, I have "severe" anxiety, so I basically panic about everything 😅
@@disableddiaries2169 lol I had a few weird symptoms the weekend before last, hand and body chills and a weird sensation in my throat, and was convinced I was dying. The funny thing is I hate going to the doctor. But I've been to the doctor so much more recently than I ever have in my life, but happy to say I've only felt the need to go to the ER twice this year.
My tremor is in my left leg and only happens mostly now when I'm stressed or at random. It's pretty embarrassing when it just happens out of the blue in public.
Thank you so much for this video! I wasn't officially diagnosed with FND, but due to multiple tests coming back negative, this was the last thing my doctors considered it could be. But the way it was delivered was in such a bad way that I had a hard time accepting this as a possible diagnosis. My doctors even referred to it as conversion disorder, which I found to be an outdated term and told me to do my own research and only giving me a paragraph of what conversion disorder was. I'm going to be seeing a neurologist next Monday, so hopefully, he will be able to confirm if this is indeed what is going on with me. I'm mostly concerned about me being unemployed at this point. I changed my diet, and that has helped with my lack of mobility issues and my energy, which is still an ongoing problem unless I walk for an extended period of time. I don't think I would be able to handle a full-time job at this point. 🥺
Beg you this beautiful voice 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Losing friends is so hard. I really think it comes down to “out of sight, out of mind.” I don’t think you are being selfish at all. 😊
Hey I have a chronic disability and also believe in Jesus although I was an extremely hateful atheist towards Christians for a long time. I’m enjoying your videos and I think we have similar views on Christianity. Jesus’ core message was to love other people and yourself unconditionally and to forgive people to end the cycles of destruction. Unfortunately a lot of people who claim to be Christians can act very hateful, which was why I was an atheist for such a long time because I’d been hurt by people, not by Jesus. Thanks for making these videos :)
How is your wrist doing? I was in a cast.I broke my wrist and thumb playing soccer. I had my third cast removed months ago. Have a full and speedy recovery.
Hey, it's not actually broken which is a relief but still really hurts, just waiting to find out what's actually wrong. Oh man that sounds rough!
How bad is it
Super painful and still quite swollen 😢 turns out I've got dermatitis from the splint so super itchy
@@disableddiaries2169 ouch sorry. What's on it now
Still the splint, but I can take it off when sat still, and have a spare clean one so I can wash it and change it periodically
@@disableddiaries2169 got Instagram
There's a link to my Instagram on my about page
These resolutions and goals are so inspiring, loved this video 😊💕
