I have a dnd character based on the concept in Lives of the Monster Dogs. She was a Belgian Malinois whose form was twisted and reshaped by an artificer and infused with human-like sentience to be a blueprint for the “perfect soldier”. Only, the way he transmuted her left her physically weak and unable to handle any of the tasks she was intended for. Since it took so long for him to create a being that managed to even survive the process, the people who commissioned him cut his funding and ordered him to destroy all of his experiments. He kept her hidden and continued experimenting, and eventually she had to kill him to break free. She was found and is now an artificer and used some of the resources and techniques she observed from his work to make her own way. But she still has many physical and psychological challenges

[My Oc’s Dimension Information: Their are 3 types of magic you could be born with, peasant, royal, and dark. Only royals have royal magic, anyone can be born born with dark magic. If you die their is a chance you could come back, but if you do you will have some to show it. Most of the time if you come back from the dead the mark is a goo like liquid coming from your face. Depending on what type of magic you have it determines that likeliness of you coming back and what color the goo is. If you have peasant magic the likeliness of you coming back is low and the color of the can be any except yellow or black. If you have royal magic the likeliness of you coming back is 60% and the color of the goo is black. If you have dark magic the likeliness of you coming back is 90% and the color of the goo is black. If the goo ends up fully around your body you will lose control and become hostile. Dark magic is considered dangerous and evil because of how hostile people with it are causing people born with it to have rude and hostile names.
