Pricey but does the job. Essentially just changes the range of the pedal. Does not change acceleration or engine power, only how much pedal is needed to go. High tech cars like BMW/Mercedes has this built in to "driving modes". (Surely they don't offer this for such models.)

It doesn’t increase power, but it takes out the factory delay from the ECU that’s why the torque comes in much earlier

Had one in my 5.7 charger; felt like a freaking race car!!

Had this device on my 2015 Tundra and it does work but will not be ever-lasting. Had for approx. 2 1/2 years and started to see on my dash an error alert. "Traction Control Disabled". I could start my truck but it would not move. Unplugged my negative cable and reattached then it worked and drove fine for a while. Removed this device after the 3rd instance and haven't had any issues since, more than 6 months. At $299 for 2 1/2 years is okay but will not purchase another one. Just my 2 cents...

Your horse power and torque are exactly the same that little device does not add anything its just fooling your car on throttle usage let's say you put down 40% of the throttle that device will tell the car its at 70%. It's complete garbage and somewhat of a scam for those who don't look deep enough into it

I looked this up to see if I could do this at work but it looks like it produced a lot of smoke. Is that correct?

I used to cook steaks this way, but as you can tell from the video, it will set off all your smoke detectors and you'll have to air out the rest of the house if you want to breathe in it. The steaks do come out great though. Maybe this can be adapted to a skillet on an outdoor grill. I have no solutions.

Not more power, just faster throttle response. It gives you the allusion of more power. I have a Toyota 4Runner, and they are famous, or should I say, INFAMOUS for being like an old woman wearing cement shoes when accelerating. Only 270 hp and around the same for torque; an absolute dog when it comes to power and acceleration. The Pedal Commander should be offered by the dealer as a standard part of the 4Runner package at no additional cost to the buyer. It's a MUST HAVE.

Don't buy a Pedal Commander. Fixed it for you. Those things are not worth the headache and safety concerns. There are better devices out there that don't leave you stranded when they fail.

Great video. You may Want to add "don't change modes while pressing pedal" I just got this pedal commander and made that mistake and had no pedal for a moment. Read the tips on the PC site, they say don't change while driving. Ur pedal is "DBW" drive by wire, so this device just gives you a better pedal response. It seems like more HP but it's not. It sure takes off like a rocket in that plus mode. Enjoy. N be safe
