    The studios and writers have to split the difference between excellence and adequacy, between darkness and light, between seriousness and fun. GTA 5 might heve been split too far. It doesn't taste like anything. Its the financial equivalent of swishing water around in a mostly empty jar of tomato sauce to make sure you get it all. Gta 5 must lay down the conditions of its magic and abide by them; otherwise the immature fanbase feels cheated. Don't even get me started on Trevor. Trevor is annoying, Trevor is stupid, Trevor is shallow. He's nothing but a backstory hiding behind a t-shirt. Laziness mingles with overkill, violence with mawkishness. All of the characters weep at the slightest provocation but heads are blown off and people get beaten up and tortured. Cult devotees won't care. At the end of the day, I doze off, fans go gaga over the games dumb gimmicky mayhem, Rockstar goes cha-ching. I'll give it a 3/10.

    I have an question. Im skinny as hell and people say i look kinda under weight. Im 6ft 1 height wise. Im 68 kgs btw. Is it unusual for me to be able to lift a full gas cylinder which is 30 kg (i checked online) . I did that only. And holded it for 10 seconds. I even took it upto my chest height. Is it impressive? Or others can do it too? I have heard its very hard to lift a full gas cylinder. But i was able to do it. So am i strong? Btw i dont exercise at all. I most of the time waste my time sleeping. I somehow can lift a full gas cylinder. But cant do a single push up. I know you are into fitness and martial arts and everything. So you might know about these things

    • @MindCultureF2V
      @MindCultureF2V 12 дней назад

      Interesting question my man. Being able to lift half you body weight is definitely good, especially if you don't train. It's what people should strive to be able to do and you will find that alot of people can't lift half their body weight. It's pretty normal to be able to be strong in some areas and weak in others. But once you can do at least 5 push ups, you'll be able to do more. If you start working out regularly for about 3 times a week, you'll get mad gains because you're a beginner. Definitely worth getting into bro

    I love the video but I don't think Viktor has thanatophobia. He's not afraid of death itself. He's afraid of dying before completing his research and seeing the fruits of his labor instead of only "figments" as he calls it. He wants to make a difference and improve the lives of the people, especially those of Zaun, but all of the sudden he's on a clock and he feels as though he's only just getting started. In his eyes, the only thing he and Jayce had done so far were reinforcing the Hextech crystals into stable gemstones and make the Hexgates (which mostly benefitted topside). Everything else is still either theoretical or getting stonewalled by Heimerdinger and the rest of the council. He's afraid of dying before being able to actually help anyone. Sure, the Hexgates made Piltover even more money by becoming a trading hub... but that's just topside and only helps with money. Great video though, I loved watching it and enjoyed hearing your perspective.

    Crazy how we have so many geniuses in this world and they don't and can't understand why men live and act on violence. To be honest masculinity has noting to do with why men are violent. Not bashing you and what you said you had some good points. But it got me thinking if violence has been part of man over the entire world for over 10k years. Especially when masculinity wasn't even a thing or thought of that time. Why was the beginning of human kind so violent? You can't even compare masculinity to the men in those times.

    • @MindCultureF2V
      @MindCultureF2V 14 дней назад

      You raise an interesting point my man! masculinity as a modern construct doesn't inherently explain male violence, which which is way older than any socially constructed idea. From a psychological perspective, the roots of male aggression are complex and have many factors that need to be considered. Evolutionary psychology suggests that male violence likely stemmed from competition for resources, territorial disputes, and survival instincts to gain reproductive advantages. Fast forward to more recent times and those same mechanisms evolved over thousands of years need to adapt to modern society. Biological factors like testosterone influence aggression and risk-taking, in particular male vs male aggression, though testosterone has also been linked to prosocial behaviours in men that enhances social status. Which is something people often like to leave out of the conversation. My views have kind of evolved on the topic since making that video, but at the end of the day the capacity for violence has always been a part of man since the beginning. Its a tool. In comes into play with the idea of masculinity when people encourage it as part of the expectation of being a man. There's a line in the movie where Jake says to Nig "You know what boy? you're too much, you should be more like you're old man and learn to stand on you're own two feet". Jakes idea of being a man is centred around violence and being able to use it to get what he wants. That's just my take on it bro. Appreciate the comment and for you sharing your thoughts 🍻💯 its important to talk about these things, especially when there are so many people telling us how we should view these topics.

      @MindCultureF2V that all makes sense and does have alot of factual basis that i had just saw during some research I was doing. I didn't like this movie, I thought it painted a very sad picture of the Mauri people, and the guy I thought was the hero turned out to just a lowlife wife beater, nothing to see in this film unless you love violence, there's not even a moral lesson anywhere in the film, except perhaps not to visit New Zealand,

    • @MindCultureF2V
      @MindCultureF2V 19 дней назад

      I respect you opinion bro, and I can see where you are coming from. You are right, it can paint a certain picture of Māori at the time. The unfortunate truth of it, is that this is what a lot of Māori have experienced. Our people are over represented in all statistics associated with violence, substance abuse and the justice system. The main moral lesson comes from Beth's journey and the need to break the cycle, or else it will only just continue. The cool thing about Jakes character is that he comes across as the anti hero at the start but you see how much his resentment and anger builds up and blinds him to the harm he causes. The books go into a lot more detail, and they did make a sequel that wasn't as good, but you see Jakes redemption arc. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts and commenting man!

    Im pakeha from a Scottish Irish heratige. However I relate to this movie as I have experienced very similar things in my youth. I think the reason why this movie is so popular is probably just because it’s hectic as fuck, but I relate a lot to it personally. Even though I’m not moari and have no Māori blood. I think it highlights a problem with kiwi family culture in general, in fact across the world it seems that family violence is worst in rural areas.

    • @MindCultureF2V
      @MindCultureF2V 19 дней назад

      100% agree. It brought topics like domestic violence, substance abuse and the impacts poverty have in NZ to the forefront, which other people from around the world could relate to if thats their lived experience. Definitely a cultural issue that extends further than just geographical area or race. Violence doesn't discriminate, if we are lucky we never get to experience it in the home, but a lot of us weren't/aren't so lucky. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences bro! I made a follow up on the sequel if you want to check it out 🤙🏽 a lot of people didn't realise there was one haha
