The thing that actually made me concider that this might be true is his tattoos If you watch the chrissy scene again he makes a specific point to refrenxe his tatoos and then pulls his shirt to show us He has a picture of BATS and he also has one of a black widow which is significant because 001 has a connection to spiders and black widows specifically. I just think its interesting that they specifically brought up his tatoos It could have just been to forshadow his death but it could also been for something deeper

I honestly really hope he doesn't come back alive, a flashback would be fine but actually bringing him back would just seem like lazy writing and fan service. His sacrifice was meaningful and impactful, bringing him back to life would complety ruin that and make the emotional scene usless and cheap. Not to mention they already did the fake death senario with Hopper so doing it again would just seem repetitive. Finally, season 5 is the last season. It should focus on the main cast and their stories, bringing Eddie back as Kas would take away from the main characters and the screen time that they need to finish up their stories. I understand why so many people want him back, but I think that it would ruin season 5 if they did. This is just my opinion though.

I really hope he fucking comes back, even if its just a flashback. Im normally one to accept characters deaths in games, films etc, because either i barely knew em or they died in a satisfying way and were remembered n shit. But with eddie, hes different to me. St is a series i hold cose to heart, ive been watching it since i was a young one, but ive never been fully imbedded to a character except dustin and steve. When eddie showed up however i was swooning, as a metalhead myself i instantly loved his chaotic and outgoing character. How even though everyone hated him he couldnt give two shits and continued doing what he loved. Him and dustin had a great friendship, and he got along well with the rest of the group, he was funny and enjoyable to watch aswell. I fucking love this character. Compared to the others, wich im not saying theyre bad, they are not, but eddie was a character weve never really seen in st before and i liked that. I mean this man only had about an hour and more of screen time and instantly became my favourite character, for others as well. His death was sad and tragic, but it felt pointless. They already distracted the bats, they couldve just left, met up with the others yada yada. But they didnt, and normally i would move on, kinda like Joel Millers death in The Last Of Us Part II. Yes joels death hit hard, but we constantly got reminded of him and had flashbacks. At the end of the last episode, the characters dont say anything, except for dustin and wayne. I know he was just a side character, but considering that may have been the last time we see him, it wouldve been nice for some recognition of him, to the others as well. Maybe in season 5? Mate died for a town that despised him, he deserves more recognition. He doesnt have to come back as Kas, as much as that would be cool, because unlike palpatine eddie coming back makes sense, and since his death didnt make sense either and wasnt needed, its very plausible. If that doesnt happen then i hope its at least a flashback or a mention of him. No way can dustin or the others go through the entirety of season 5 without mentioning him? He sacrificed himself for them, and he barely knew em. Only time will tell though, but that face and the way joseph said that he wont tell makes it seem like he is. I sure fucking hope so though!

Pretty sure ive figured out the end of ST. Time is frozen in the upside down when will first went missing. Eleven is going to sacrifice herself and when she goes the timeline will be reset and noone not even barb would have died. Something along those lines is gonna happen guaranteed
