That’s no knock against him, one and done scenarios are rare and most guys coming into the league played 2+ years in college. He never had the heart to play strong and to his full potential after his rookie year. He was lazy on rim protection, lost easy layups when he could’ve just gone strong and dunked the ball and missed so many passes in the paint cause he wasn’t paying attention. He played extremely small for as big and powerful as he was. I don’t hate the guy but to say his play was disappointing is a massive understatement.

Just 2 years ago, Ayton was a reality good player. My have the mighty have fallen.
