"Engage the Co-Pilot... Check" - Airplane Proposal
(Proposal at 2:15)
Ariana and I met at work a few years ago. I'm a pilot and she's a flight attendant, so aviation has always been a huge part of our relationship. So, what better way to propose than while we're flying over her home island of Puerto Rico! I told her that we were going to rent an airplane and just film a regular RUclips video. That way, she had no idea what was about to happen! I made a fake checklist with the proposal hidden inside and asked her to run the checklist for me. I am incredibly lucky to now be able to call Ariana my Fiancé!

Venice is an amazing city with rich history, unique architecture, and of course, beautiful canals. This is my absolute favorite city in the world and this video shows why. In just 1 day we were able to see some of the most iconic sights that the city has to offer, try some venetian food, and relax in this totally unique place. Venice is definitely a city worth visiting!

Did you pay an excise tax?
I did! It was 10% of the vehicle’s value. It was the value of the car in PR, which is typically more than in the US. At the time my car was worth around $8k in the states, but it was worth $10k in PR, so I payed $1000 of excise tax
Check list complete!!! Congratulations
I hope you have a blessed life together ❤️ ✨️ 💛 🙏
GOD bless you both
You have an old man on the west coast of Ireland in tears - so happy for you guys that was awesome - God Bless you I hope you and yours are always in good health and humour....!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your experience. Considering shipping a car to Puerto Rico. Aside from the shipping fees, PR taxes and tire fees, were there any other inspection/insurance or Marbete/DMV fees due upon the cars arrival? Thanks 😊
You’ll need to get an inspection/marbete, I believe it’s usually $10, insurance is required, you can get it for less than $100 a year at most gas stations (i did a video on that ;) and I don’t remember there being any other expenses
I'll do the same for my love within near future =)
My family moving from Dallas to Puerto Rico also thanks for this video
yep thanks a great ending
Go home gringo
Everyone in Italy says that gelato that has vibrant colors is mostly fake additives ? This one looks like it is very colorful
I can’t say for sure if it contains additives and food dyes, but it has won many awards for being the “best” gelato. It was certainly the best we had while in Italy, but it may contain additives, I’m not sure
@jonathanhardee thanks , we will be there in June, so gotta visit and try . Thanks!
so happy for your guys...
Thank you!

One of the most unic in the world ❤ Venezia
Thanks for this amazng video!
How much was the taxes
The taxes are 10% of the value of the car on the island, which is typically a higher value than in the mainland US
Great vlog, what month were you there? I’ll be there again in early May next spring.
Thank you! We were there in september
"Promo sm" 😁
Tell me how much you have to pay artríticos there I think it's over $5000 let me know
I’m not sure what artríticos is, I had to pay hacienda 10% of the cars’ value in taxes, that’s all
Welchitoooooo ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Great info, unfortunately due to the Jones act anything shipped to the island costs a fortune
Ship an electric vehicle and you have to pay the ~20%
Italy is more beautiful than dream, Europe is like the garden of heaven
Can u advise where u stayed I each city and how far in advance u had to book. I assume u stayed I walking g distance?
We usually book accommodation only a few days in advance for all our trips. For Tuscany we stayed in a castle Airbnb in Poggibonsi (I made a video about it if you want to check it out! I highly recommend it) in Venice we stayed at an Airbnb on mainland Italy (not in the canals of Venice, and we took a bus to get to the canals) and we stayed at a hotel in Florence but I apologize I can’t remember the name. We really like staying at airbnbs because typically with a little searching we can find really nice places for a good price or really unique stays like the castle in Tuscany. For Florence it’s easy to stay in town and within walking distance, but there are some trains as well if you want to be a bit further out. If you stay in the canals of Venice everything is there and well within walking distance, if not you can take a bus there like we did (and it’s usually far cheaper that way). However for Tuscany you really need to rent a car to get around
I once went on a vacation with my family to Italy and i was really amazed with the structures i saw, The unmentioned factor is that everyone works hard. They had an unbelievable work ethic. The pioneer generation were given a good opportunity by an intelligent government, but they worked hard to improve themselves. Another unmentioned thing is the significant economic pressure on working families.
You're right! If you are unfamiliar with the market, I recommend seeking advice or assistance from a financial coach. With the help of an investment advisor, I have diversified my $250k portfolio across multiple markets, We were able to generate over $685k in net income from seasonally high-dividend stocks, ETFs and bonds. For me, this is the most ideal way to enter the market these days.
I've shuffled through investment consultants and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, ‘’Marcia Ann Bice” turned out to be better and smarter than all the consultant I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Well done! Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Awesome video
Thanks!
🔥🔥🔥🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹❤❤
Omg!!!! Americans are so ignorant. Can you not bring yourself to learn at least the word "thank you" in Italian?? So rude
Brings back great memories. Thanks
Awesome video thanks for sharing!
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Wow!
Venezia è una bellissima città sull'acqua
W❤️W! Absolutely Awesome! Cheers for more exciting and breathtaking globetrotting adventures!🥂❤️✨
Thank you I’m glad you liked it!
Preparing for my trip next month and i really enjoyed this and the Florence video! Thanks for sharing :)
I’m glad you liked it! Enjoy your trip!
Share it with other people to divide the cost. Honestly it's one of those experience that you never forget.
Enjoyed the video and your amnesty about drink/food
Thank you!
It’s not expensive cause you can travel with another 4 persons and you’ve got another view of the canal, once upon a time there was the only way to get arrive to another place especially only the riches could afford it. Obviously you personally prefer the food, not the experience.
What an awesome find! A great place to stay.
It’s definitely the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever found! And for the price it’s totally worth it
Great videos ❤
Thank you!
Great video 👍🏼
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Hi love your review we will be returning to Venice in October last visit only a day … question where were you walking with the gelato before you entered Sat Marks Square?
Ooh to be honest I couldn’t tell you, there’s so many gelato shops in Venice haha but looking at Apple Maps it may have been “gelato fantasy” just northwest of the square
The scent of the grapes she is trying to describe are the Concord grape made popular by Welch's in North America. I doubt Italy would have those, they are too high in acid and too low in sugar; just saying.
Interesting!
I loved watching your walking tour of Venice! You have a great energy on camera and your knowledge of the city really shines through. tnx for sharing!
Thank you!
How was the weather in Venice?
It was perfect, in the 70s all day
