In my opinion, HTC U11 black is the best color variant.

I grabbed one for 200 bucks. Upgraded from a Galaxy SII so it was a huge upgrade for me, and so far it's performing really well. The camera though is awesome, nice wide stills and 1080/60 without zooming in too much, but 4k and super slowmo is zoomed in way too much. The battery though seems to last forever which is really nice. Screen is great, but not oled great. The plastic back feels really cheap if you ask me, but if you get a cover for it .. It's all good.

Is the phone that fragile? I don't want to use a screen protector or a case, I'm afraid it would ruin its design and ergonomics

I love the xa2... I came from the Nokia 7 plus which was dropping calls and had wifi issues, a p20 lite which huawei weren't updating.. 7 mnths old OS.. which both had terrible cameras... I never got a good shot from the p20lite, but the xa2 with the Dec 18 update, is awesome... Fab camera, ok low light too for its price, really loud decent speaker, excellent call quality and, apart from the odd stutter from the SD630 SoC,, its really fast and smooth... at this point in 2019, its a better device and camera than the xz premium and xz1 .... Oh and pie update is rolling out now... A great purchase

Pretty awesome phone, especially considering the price.

I had the 5t, one of the best phones I've owned and with a dbrand skin , it just rocked. Now I have a brand new U11, it is not that expensive as it was two years ago and it is still snapy and lag free..sure it looks a bit dated but that's only a matter of tastes. Thanks for the video, so glad I watched this. I enjoyed it :)

I have no trouble with the buttons either. They work fine no phantom touches. Truthfully I think everyone complaining is htc hater.ms.

Best midrange phone

On my htc 10 my power button doesnt work well at all, i have to push it multuple times to lock my phone. i use the finger print senser to unlock it. Also the double tap the power button to open the camera is super annoying cause my phone goes to the camera instead of locking sometimes. So i have no problem at all with these new buttonless buttons.

I’ve owned some high end phones but the honor v10 is certainly up there with most of them an£ even better at a lower cost, I love mine.

I'm going to buy the U11 now, not caring if it's more than one year old, so yes, I agree with you that it's still worth buying this device in 2018. And I'm even more convinced after this beautiful review. I liked your way to speak, your pronunciation which allowed me to understand almost all what you said even if English is not my mother language. I also liked the fact that you are the first reviewer i heard, to say that the lack of the headphone jack is not a issue. I totally agree with that. What i didn't understand is wether your device is a 4/64 Gb or a 6/128 Gb. I was looking for a 6/128 but those sold by HTC here in Italy are all sold out. We can find them on Ebay, but without official warranty. Only 12 months seller's warranty. And I feel a bit uncomfortable with that. So I think I'm going for a cheaper 4/64. Or do you think it's worth the risk to buy a 6/128 without official warranty? Just another question: Is the screen saver really needed on the U11's Gorilla Glass 5?

For HTC the screenshot it was always power+ home icon....and never power+ volume.

Good overall review but no mention of the multiple microphones making for great audio on videos or just audio recording. Also are the two speakers stereo or woofer and tweeter set up? The latter makes for some odd separation for some music tracks

You have nice hands and soothing voice. I reckon other reviewers were impatient maybe. They may need time to get used to it. But I have questions: 1. When you're taking videos，will the phone get too warm? 2. How's the battery so far when taking videos or/and using GPS? 3. Do often the system update? Thanks!

How do you move files from internal to sd card?

You'll have many screenshots:) way too many Can you check does turning off Edge Sense really improves battery life. It's stupid to turn it off, I know, but just to see how it affects battery (one guy claims battery life significantly improved). Than it would be obvious why U12+ has bellow expected battery life. LCD seem not to be the only problem.
