Yes, unfortunately - after about 7 months, the little breathing slit had some rust developing. I called up, and they changed the faceplate. Now almost 3 years later, it looks like there are some spots at the same place. That is, the "stainless steel' faceplate is NOT made of real stainless steel. Its somekind of laminated sheet metal to give it the stainless steel look. The parts where moisture such as steam, or just plain water tends to get to will cause rust. Very disappointing for a KitchenAid (Whirlpool 'premium' brand). Functionally, it good. I get once in a while some weird general error that causes the water pool, which I then had to reset and do a 'rinse' or 'drain' cycle. Since its out of warranty now, and its not a big deal to reset it - I don't intend to fix it. Would I recommend now? Not really - I believe pay a bit more for a Bosch (never owned them, but looks like they may not have this issue) may be worth it. I am looking at this developing more and more rust, until I replace it. The mechanism, wash is good - but not the material used on the fascia.

Thanks very much! This was recorded with a Nikon D7000, 18-200mm lens. The key to the good sound recording is that the audio is recorded using a separate audio recorder, in this case a Tascam DR-44WL. It is then combined in post-production. Eg. Here: ruclips.net/video/UntrLrhs0HM/видео.html . Search for 'sync audio and video'. Any external audio recorder placed near to the source will sound better than the built-in camera mic. Even your phone placed at the front row. I see you have kids into music - so I'd recommend you do invest in a good audio recorder (tascam.com/us/category/Handheld_and_Field_Recorders). If not the DR-44WL above, then the DR-22WL, DR05 or others. As for tripod, I don't have a video one, and thus you can see the ball head jerkiness when panning. Normally, in a hall like this, its quite difficult to put a tripod, so a monopod will work too. Hope this helps!
