Yep! Honestly I love how they make certain game mechanics lore-friendly. Dynamis, the Echo, etc.
In the end Zenos was our best frenemy. A sort of redemption in the end as well as a coming to an understanding. Zenos did change by the end even if it was for his own desires and not those befitting a "hero." I think it's interesting that there is a theory that Zenos wished so strongly that his friend to live in the end and in that place of dynamis, made the teleport appear. There is an Omnicron in Ultima Thule you can talk to after the story who talks about receiving a message after a huge clash of energy that suddenly fell silent and the message only said "LIVE." It's a neat theory, I think.
I for sure believe that Zenos's dynamis is what brought the teleporter back to us, even if only partly. Our friends were praying for us pretty hard, too!
@@foxygames165 For sure, though I've heard people say they were outside of the Dynamis sphere or whatever you end up in at the end so they couldn't be involved. Regardless I feel it was pretty evident Zenos wished for you to live on with his questions. (In addition to the meta commentary theory.) I know a lot of people dislike Zenos but I quite enjoyed him and his yandere status. Villains don't always need to be super complex to be entertaining or good. I will miss him and I'm still torn whether or not I want him to somehow come back on our side.
The thing about dynamis is that, as far as I understand it, everyone produces it. So even if we were outside of the Dead Ends/giant sphere of dynamis, it could be that Zenos's will was so strong that it became manifest. After all, it was established in Endwalker that limit breaks are just dynamis in action, and those are performed by single individuals. I agree wholly on your opinion of Zenos. People like to compare everyone to Emet-Selch and Elidibus after Shadowbringers, but it's true that some people just want to burn it all down for selfish reasons. Even Emet and Elidibus's reasons were, from their perspective, done for the greater good. Zenos just wanted to fight, and that's perfectly ok for a villain. He represents what we, the Warrior of Light, could have been--insane amount of power, but with Garlean yes-men and enablers instead of close friends to establish a moral compass. And of course the meta-commentary on Zenos representing the player. X3 I would like to see him come back. Maybe not on "our side" per se, but as something that shows up sometimes, searching for a new meaning. I think, in the end, he was trying to tell us that he hadn't found fulfillment in his final fight, which was definitely one of the hardest-hitting moments in this expansion.
Eyy someone that remembers the mechanics, I've seen so many people screw up the shinryu mechanics right off the bat. Also figured out the mechanics for the fights on the fly too, kudos!
Endwalker's dungeons were pretty easy to figure out overall! Now, Pandaemonium, on the other hand... We don't talk about Hippokampos.

I don’t think they were hinting to thrr Ed next expansion bring the last, there’s plans for more. I think it’s alluding to the finale of the hydaelyn vs zodiark story.
I guess we'll have to see. Either way, Shadowbringers will be a tough act to follow!
