If the dial shows 12 (noon), then you should expect the Sun to be directly S at 12. However, if say 4 (after noon), then S would be about 2 (half of 4). // You're converting a half day 12 hour dial into 24-hour solar dial. // The Sun will generally be in the S from the N hemisphere, else N in the S hemisphere. // Timezones and daylight saving can mess this up by an hour or two. // So basically, you need to understand the Sun's apparent motion, and if you do, then you don't need a watch face. // This technique is only useful for setting a heading on the watch face, then marching in that direction oriented by the Sun.

@@TheAmbitiousPeasant glad you replied. I can help you understand and use the watch face. But I would recommend that you first understand how a simple sun-dial or sun-compass works.
@@TheAmbitiousPeasant understand that (as seen from Earth) the Sun appears to rotate around the Earth in 24 hours (you obviously can't see the Sun at night but it's still "going around"). Stick a rod straight up in the dirt on a sunny day, mark the shadow every hour. I think you know how that works. But notice the "shadow hands" move half as slowly as your watch face hour hand. Why? Because the Sun shadow makes a 24 hour dial but your watch is only 12 hours per cycle.
The sundial (or sun compass) is much more accurate than your watch. It's difficult walking with your sundial. But your watch is on your wrist. So, you can imagine (or actually) making a sundial, then setting the markings on your watch, then march for an hour keeping the Sun aligned with the markings on your watch... then make another sundial an hour later to re-adjust.
The alpine watch "instructions" are trying to help you skip the sundial step, but I believe you must understand the sundial before making sense of the alpine watch.

Si se pone el Brazalete Hexad de Strancode, tiene que ser el específico para King Samurai, porque mucha gente le pone el que es para el Samurai modelo antiguo y entonces los end links tienen algo de juego y no encajan a la perfección. Para mayor comodidad en su instalación, los end links se pueden separar completamente del resto del brazalete, porque también van sujetos con tornillos al brazalete, así que se pueden separar del mismo, colocarlos en el reloj y luego atornillarles el resto del brazalete. Yo lo hice así y me resultó mucho más cómodo.
