Would you say these ST2130’s are harder to work with than nh35’s? I always hear people snapping crown stems or having hand winding issues?

Manage to do it. Thank you. Two problems: 1) Opening the cover without a tool - manage to do it by holding the watch in a piece of cloth and pressing the notches with a pair of tight pliers. Scratched it a bit, though. 2) The battery cover was hard to slide in. Managed to do it by pure luck, by pressing it a few times until it slid in. I guess the right way to do it was to dismantle the rotor gear. That must be why the quote for the job was 95 EUR. Also, you need to screw in first the right screw of the battery cover (the right one in the video), the one with a little pin. I was lucky to have a laptop toolkit. Next time I'm gonna get some proper tools.

I admit that rose gold is not usually my first (or second) choice for a watch case but the color combination here and the total look of this watch is spectacular! Great looking watch and with a Seiko movement it will last for posterity.

Единственно пришлось приобрести инструмент для снятия задней крышки и придумать как зафиксировать корпус часов, чтобы снять эту самую крышку, так как было необходимо приложить значительные усилия при откручивании. Теперь снова со своими любимыми часами.

I'm struggling to unscrew the back casing - I'm guessing that it has never been unscrewed since we bought the watch 30 years ago. Have you got any suggestions for how to loosen it? Many thanks.

Ive got 2 broken seiko kenetics there hopeless I only have 1 working watch my Rolex Deepsea but it's 2 bulky to wear all the time I might sell it and get a sub mariner I don't know yet il see in the future

I see you omitted showing the other side refitting of the watch band and the retightening of the watch back. Perhaps adding a text line to that effect on your video would have resulted in a 10/10 score from me. Anyhow 9.5 outa 10 aint a bad mark.

Thanks. this is a very important watch. it was given to me as a gift by my grandmother when I was 25. it works great but needs a battery change.

For the convenience of replacing the battery, remove the rotor.

It would be nice if the scratched crystal be replaced as the icing on the cake, nevertheless it is a very good video

Thanks for this video. It took me considerably longer to accomplish it, but the watch is working. I have had this same exact model sitting in a drawer in the original box for ten years. It was presented to me for 25 years at my job. I retired a couple of months ago after 35 years, and decided to wear the watch. It wouldn't hold a charge, but it works great now. Thanks.

The third hole at the bottom the small metal bracket. I could not tell how that was released. Does it sit on a post or something?
