Hylics 2 Enemy Animation Gallery (Spoilers!)
There's no easy way to see the enemy animations outside of battle, so I made this to have them all in one place. There's a bunch of repeats, but everyone is in there at least once.
Enemies are ordered more or less when you first encounter them.
Some notes:
1) I don't believe there's any difference between Viewax and Viewaxian's sprites, so I just recorded Viewax.
2) I didn't get Bomelaug with their tether out. By the time I thought about recording that, they were already all dead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
New enemies are listed as they appear left to right.

3:20 Viewax/Viewaxian

I like how the floating fish (carassisus) is the most normal enemy.
and the fish has a knife
Cave Cineast and Nonconformist are my favorites.
Still will never be over the bizarre way Gibby Revividus' head pulses, while it twitches and wobbles. Nothing about him is natural and I LOVE it. God what a cool fight that one is as well.
my favourite thing about the animations in this game just has to be their inconsistency. Obviously each and every one you can tell is made by the same guy but there's just so much variation, technically and stylistically. some are obviously done with stop motion, while some seem to be 3D scanned then rigged and animated in blender +some of them definitely are using hair modifiers from blender. the framerate varies a lot... same with the shading, some are shaded with just harsh blacks while some are shaded with more saturated tones. some are also just randomly missing the black outline that most have, too. And obviously there's the blending of actual human features too, which always looks amazing... by favourites have to be the cave cineast, feral hydrostat, truculent, post dog, courtier, nonconformist, coiffed stalker and foliated : ) thank u for compiling these

Who's your favorite??? Cave Cineast kicks ass imo. There's even a friendly one running around New Muldul like a crackhead!
I like the nomconfornist. One of the few enemies that actually threw me off guard the first time I saw it

poolman and nonconformist and post dog and truculent and poolmagne and of course gibby himself are my favorites i think :)
Poolman and Carassius are my favorites
My fave is the Bomelaug, i just love watching its mouth flap like "mehmehmehmehmhemejemh"

I love how combat in Hylics' World is basically people throwing gang signs at each other

Thank you for this. It's really nice to be able to see them all together out of the game. If you ever find the time, will and pleasure to do so, could you also do all the animations for the ennemies attacks or the animation for Wayne's team attacks ?

They were stiff on the first game tho, the second one added a lot of production value
