Yeah it just reads "particles". I don't think the technology to determine what those particles are is really available in a portable hand held device. If you got it from Amazon at least you can return it! I think this device is useful for alerting you to a potential problem. You would then need to have samples analyzed in a proper lab to find out the actual chemical breakdown of what might be present in you water. So my take is that if you use this to test and the readings are good, you then avoid spending A LOT of money on a proper lab analysis. However if you are looking to find out if you have a specific contaminant in your water you can get test kits to test for things like lead or other heavy metals. I'm not sure about test kits for bacteria, I haven't personally seen one but they may exist as well. I hope I didn't give you the impression that this little tester would provide you the exact breakdown of what is in the water and at what levels. I made this video quite a while ago so I will try to make a point to watch it to make sure. If I did give that impression let me apologize in advance as that wasn't my intention. I didn't run it down to nothing and then time a recharge. The manufacturer says it takes 1 hour to charge via USB-C. Having said that I have since had a look at this one ruclips.net/video/jH1G9ELcXfk/видео.html it's about 15 bucks more but it's quite a bit better.

I had no issues using it with OBS with a 1080p source. The image looked good coming from a Canon EOS M100.. I tend to actually demonstrate these things now, this was an early video where I was only unboxing things and talking about their features. I'm making an effort to make the videos better and more useful as I go. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

You could light up a room, but you have to remember it's a rechargeable light. So if you wanted to mount it on a high ceiling you'd probably want to it to be in place of a fixture so you could get power to it, otherwise you'd have to keep taking it down to charge it. Assuming it will still work while charging, the upside would be that you'd still have light for quite a while before the battery runs out during a power outage. I think it's more designed for near a door, or in a closet or bathroom where you want it to sense you're there and come on and then automagically shut off when you leave.

I tried looking for it but it seems this product may have been discontinued. I did try looking at their Amazon shop as well as their web site and found nothing. If you had better luck let me know.

There's a free app that you install that allows you to transfer files to and from the flash drive. They give you a QR code in the instruction manual that takes you to the app.

I don't think this meter was intended for professional applications so what you're saying makes perfect sense. I see this more as something for a homeowner or maybe the sound guy from the local venue to use to find the source of some sort of interference. But yeah, you're right a more specialized device that costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars is always going to give you a much more accurate reading. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'm learning new ways of testing these things out. I have been using an identical headband in a different colour pretty much since I made this video. The headphones are fine for relaxation sounds but I probably wouldn't use them for listening to music unless I was trying to sleep or maybe if I were a runner/jogger. A decent $50 pair of wired headphones would likely blow these things away sonically. They ARE comfortable they pair quickly and the battery lasts all night. I am getting better (slowly) at making these videos and my newer videos are much more comprehensive. I totally agree with you, this is not my best work, but for some reason I can't explain this is one of my most popular videos! If you like a sort of no BS, here's the product style of videos, that's my goal so if you can bear with me as I learn I would appreciate it, if not thanks for the comment as these things help me to get better.

@@Jacky-Goy-7 Well the idea is that I have not had any real experience of the product before making the video. I've wanted to give a first impression of each product. Sort of what to expect if you buy the product and open the box for the first time. My goal right now is to get into a bigger space so I can add a second camera angle. You may notice that in most of the new videos I do switch between a close up and a wider shot. I actually have stuff that I want to shoot but the object is actually too big to get into frame with my current setup!

The box comes with a plastic stick that kinds holds everything at 0000 so you can open the box for the first time. Once the box is open whatever numbers you change the 4 tumblers to becomes the combination. So you have the opportunity to change the combination whenever the box is open. Hope that helps. Yeah that makes sense. I think if I were a trucker I'd prefer a system that pipes audio from the phone through the stereo system and then I'd wear a headset mic that did not come out of the speakers to prevent feedback. Very few headphones one cup or not are going to stay comfortable for the amount of time truckers are working. Thanks for the comment.

It works well, it's rechargeable and so you can move around while wearing it. If you want a very strong massage feature and you're not moving around tho, you're better off with one that plugs in. It is well made and should last a while.

It sucks. The instructions are poorly translated. It doesn't heat much, and it can ONLY be used for the lower back, even though the ads on Amazon show it working on the upper back and shoulders. It is too bulky and heavy to wear across the shoulders. The only way to use it on the upper back is to wrap it around your chest so tightly that it restricts breathing. No instructions on how to switch from Centigrade to Farenheit but lots of worthless BS about voltage parameters. It was a complete waste of $80. DON'T BUY IT.

I haven't tried that. I used mostly thumb drives and SD Cards in it. As long as there's a power supply in your external hard drive I can't see why it wouldn't work. If it will read something formatted ExFat It would make sense that any volume size you can format with EXFat would be readable. I can't guarantee it tho. Keep your receipt I guess. I would just hook it up and test it but I don't have a 5TB drive handy to do that with.

Probably because it was one of my first videos. I tend to get through that stuff much more quickly these days. You gotta make videos and develop your methods etc. If you look at the dates on the videos you'll see these little incremental changes happening. I'm still working on things. For instance Because I very rarely ever lay eyes on the actual product until the camera is rolling you're just getting my initial reaction, so I've begun leaving my final thoughts for the description and actually putting into the video some text telling people that's what I'm doing. When I get to 250 videos or so, I'll probably do a cull and remove the videos that nobody is watching.

I could see that happening. I think where this light shines (pardon the pun) is weight, it's extremely light but I guess that's going to mean it's not as sturdy as some other lights. @@B-Glove Update if you are not aware of the story. I am from Wisconsin so I heard about this story a lot, It is very possible they have found the child's body. A body was discovered a couple miles away from where the boys blanket was found a few months ago, they haven't confirmed it is him but his aunt is pretty sure it is. I hope the people that did this suffer the worst death they can possibly endure. How could anyone look this child in their eyes and hurt them. They have to be heartless monsters, it saddens me this boy will not be able to experience a full life. Thank you for bringing awareness to the story, anything when it comes to a childs well being is never too small. May this little angle rest in peace.

The first one was not rechargeable so this makes a better flashlight because you can take it with you as you move around your home.

Have you contacted the manufacturer with your concerns? I don’t make this stuff I just unbox it. Seems like you’re passionate about this (which is perfectly fine) and you may make some valid points here. Perhaps you could design and market a better more efficient alternative. @@MrChangeordie I didn't have any issues with it it worked well. If you can find one at an agreeable price i'd say give it a shot.

I have another one coming up. Looks like same manufacturer! However it's a little thicker, seems like better quality LEDs, it's rechargeable for portability AND you'll be glad to know it charges via USB Type C! So stick around for that one!

You could be right there. I have no experience with air-pod microphones. Compared to the built in iPhone mics tho these things suck! Even tho my voice is clear when using them there's a little burst of distortion with every word and the levels weren't anywhere near a level where you should hear distortion. I'm sure that might work. Thanks for the suggestion. It might help someone who decided to buy this product. Keep in mind tho, when I am unboxing something, for the most part, if it's not in the box it's not in the video! I wouldn't want someone to buy the product expecting things to be included that aren't in the box because they saw it in my video. The other thing is that if I was using it for it's intended purpose no stand or mount would be needed.

Hello @lexbeltran. When I shot this I did not have the technology to show the effects of using this product. Now that I do I am working on a before and after type video that will hopefully workout better. I also have a more deluxe wax remover device that I will be trying for the first time in that video which should drop last week of May 2024 so maybe SUB and turn notifications on for that one? It's not a screen at the back of shot, it's actually a chalk board. I have addressed your concerns about specs in a more recent video and I now put the full specs of each item in the description. I also added a graphic near the start of each video that calls attention to the specs in the description.
